12/29 house show notes for WWE and TNA, WWE's 2012 PPV schedule, Questions on John Morrison, World Champions, and TNA/Universal, Stephanie fitness interview, and a holiday message from Kharma

Nothing all that new to say on the WWE house show front: Seth Rollins once again beat Tyson Kidd, and Mark Henry worked another limited cage match. Booker T. lost to Cody Rhodes again, too.

As for TNA's house shows: Garett Bischoff is working them as a wrestler, so it seems like they're continuing with that idea. A local DJ was at the Albany, NY show. Good to cross-promote whenever possible.

WWE has revealed its 2012 PPV schedule. Once more, there are 13 of them. Some will have three weeks' worth of build. Also, Bragging Rights will return to replace Capitol Punishment. At a time when there's such a loose split between Raw and Smackdown, it seems a little ridiculous to bring that idea back. But maybe they'll make the two brands separate and meaningful again between now and June?

After the break, I go into the rest of the day's news and notes, starting with my independent take on  PWInsider.com's questions.

1 was just asked the other day, so I'll move to more on 2. There hasn't been any news on the Morrison front since his video, so I'd imagine he's still taking a deserved break from the business. He could end up appearing somewhere back on the radar at some point, but I wouldn't expect it anytime soon.

Nothing to add to 3. It's pretty straight-forward. For 4, title lineages can be really confusing at times. I wasn't following the business at the time, but apparently the NWA held a tournament for the vacant title and declared a new champion, and Muta and Windham became champions afterward. Hmm. It could also be argued tha DiBiase, Sr. was Champion for the brief amount of time between his purchase of the title from Andre and it being stripped from him. That was one of the greatest heel moves of all time... Anyway, I don't know enough of that era to say definitively who should and shouldn't have held the title. Generally these days anyone who's anyone ends up with the title at some point.

5. To add to their answer, I seem to remember that when Jimmy Hart was with the company, they'd have him around the area (presumably on his megaphone) to try to corral people to the tapings. Other than that, I don't know any specifics beyond what they've said.

Stephanie McMahon Levesque gave an interview about what her fitness regimen is like, with some insight on how she relates to the wrestling business as well. Not someone we hear from a lot, so this was pretty interesting. She's bound to be a pretty fascinating person.

Finally, here's a Christmas-related video from Kharma. What did I just watch!? My brain hurts.

Anyway, that's all for today's news. More to come tomorrow, including predictions for 2012. Thanks for reading!
