Why Henry lost the World Title, TLC condition updates on Cena and the main eventers, HBK/Regal/Batista talk about Bryan's title win, Punk talks changes, Questions on planted fans, JoMo in ROH, HHH "ending the streak", and Bischoff/Hogan not being at TNA shows, Sheffield update, Miz interview, Impact Wrestling preview, Rumble commercial, what happened after TLC, MidCard Mafia #3, USA head profiled (with Vince McMahon quotes), Punk ahead of Raw, new WWE merch, Foley talks TLC, Smackdown rating, HBK interview, Physical HoF plans confirmed, WWE wins social media awards, the latest 1/2/12 video, what happened after Raw, more on TNA's India project, and a possible injury at Raw

Mark Henry has been working lately on a badly pulled groin, and will likely need time off. He wasn't featured on the weekend's house shows, and his match with Big Show was relatively short. I wish him a speedy recovery, because the "Hall of Pain" gimmick has been the best stuff I've ever seen from him. Hopefully Daniel Bryan takes the ball and runs with it.

Everyone was thankfully ok after the scary TLC main event, just banged up. They dodged a bullet there.

John Cena was backstage last night, but wasn't used. He wasn't injured. Instead, Creative decided to focus on other performers for the show. Gutsy move, but I don't think the show needed him.

Shawn Michaels commented on his student's World Title win. Truly a magical moment.

Update: Here's footage of the cash-in.

Update: Batista also commented. Ouch. I do think it's a little early for it to happen, but I think it can work if the sailing from here on out is smooth. Interestingly enough that MMA place is pretty close to FCW's main base. I wonder if anyone will take him up on his offer?

Update: William Regal also tweeted about it. He's been very influential on Bryan's career.

Update: Bryan commented on the title win as well.

C.M. Punk also had some tweets about the events of TLC. I'm down with this youth movement.

Update: Champions group photo. Damned solid line-up.

After the break, I go into the rest of the day's news, including my take on PWInsider.com's questions. Next up, an update on Kevin Nash.
Kevin Nash put out a tweet suggesting that TLC was the end for him as an in-ring competitor. That jibes with what was reportedly the word backstage at the event. I'm more than good with that. It's really time to hang up the boots.

Update: WWE.com is running an injury angle, leaving it open-ended about a potential return. Most still believe that he's done as an active wrestler.

Onto a look at what PWInsider.com has on the dais:
1. To add to what they said, there's a time delay of a couple of seconds, even on "live" TV and PPVs to catch such things. There've been some great reactions captured for sure.

2. The theory behind Morrison's asking price is supposedly so he can rest up and only take really important dates.

3's specifically for them, so I'll move to 4:  I took that to mean that he stopped the streak at 19 by hurting Taker so much that he "can't come back" and continue the streak in 2012, not that he broke it, so technically they weren't wrong. They're indeed setting up for another round between Taker and HHH. I'm hoping they end things with that one, but I get the feeling we'll be seeing Taker for years to come.

5. On the plus side, if Hogan's not there he can't be the center of attention. Nor can he politic. Of course, it would be better if he wasn't there at all, but better to pay him to do nothing than mess things up I guess. I can see the outrage here, but I'm glad Hogan's not there trying to recreate his "glory days". Bischoff on the other hand is the lesser of two evils and has been helpful at times (and is a great on-screen character). Both men have business commitments outside of TNA and are permitted to do them under their contracts (much like The Rock).

Skip Sheffield has put out a number of cryptic tweets about his presumably upcoming return.  I haven't seen anything on him since he competed on a house show recently. He could be getting repackaged when he comes back to the main roster.

The Miz had a brief interview.

A number of things have been announced for the next edition of Impact Wrestling:
-Sting has something planned for Bobby Roode after his attack last week.
-Jeff Hardy will face another "roadblock" on the way to his World Title match at Genesis.
-More from the first round of the tournament to make #1 Contenders to the Tag Team Titles: Styles/Kazarian vs. RVD/Daniels and Young/ODB vs. Moore/Anarquia. Kind of weird stuff there.
-Match #2 between Zema Ion and Anthony Nese in the best-of-3 series to determine who enters the Fatal 4 Way for the X-Division Title at Genesis.
-Follow-up in the Knockouts division after Karen Jarrett's firing.
All in all, sounds like a pretty good little line-up.

As shown on Raw, here's the commercial for the WWE Royal Rumble. Odd fit for the show, but whatever.

After his victory in the titular match at TLC, C.M. Punk interacted with fans at ringside, then handcuffed himself to Lilian Garcia and took her to the back. Ok, then...

Here's episode 3 of the MidCard Mafia series by Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins. REALLY inside. I mean, wow. How many people will even get some of those references? Weird stuff.

Bonnie Hammer, high-ranking executive at NBC Universal was profiled. She's pretty influential in the current WWE product. She seems like a very intelligent woman.

C.M. Punk was on a local talk show to promote Raw in Philly, and a radio show for that matter.

Speaking of Punk, WWE's now selling signed and matted photos of him at house shows. Cool. Wade Barrett's getting a T-shirt as well. Also pretty cool. He's earned it.

Mick Foley commented on TLC. He actually was the authority figure who put together the first TLC match. Those were the days...

Smackdown did a 1.99 rating on Friday. Not bad. Could be better.

Shawn Michaels was interviewed on WWE.com, with more interviews done for various WWE Network programs.

WWE confirmed a future physical Hall of Fame in an article about what could be held in a WrestleMania wing. I hope that does well for them.

WWE won five 2011 Mashable Awards. Very impressive.

As shown during Raw, here's the latest mystery YouTube video. These are more confusing than anything.

After Raw, the champions all celebrated near the crowd and at the top of the ramp. John Cena beat Kane in the post-show dark match when Kane attacked him a chair. He then chokeslammed him, but Cena reversed a Tombstone into an Attitude Adjustment. Cena then wished everyone Happy Holidays.

Matt Morgan is also on the roster for TNA's project in India. It's called "Ring Ka King" there.

Alberto Del Rio had to be checked out by the WWE trainers after Raw. Rumors are that he suffered some sort of groin injury. More on this tomorrow.

Beth Phoenix also had some wicked swelling after her match with Alicia Fox. OUCH.

That's it for Monday's news. More to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
