Shaq vs. Big Show in the works?, Hogan on TMZ, Legends working house shows, Miz puts fantasy football skills to the test, Stephanie McMahon on USO Board, JR talks, Ricardo sells injury, Mark Henry update, WWE talks up Mashable wins, udpate on big Mania match plan involving Hall of Famer, Punk and Foley talk, JR's wish list, and new matches for Genesis

Shaquille O'Neal is in talks with WWE to face Big Show in Miami for WrestleMania 28, as confirmed on the Abe Kanan Show. I'd be down with that. I'd much rather see Show compete in that kind of thing at this stage of his career.

TMZ caught up with Hulk Hogan (and Dennis Haskins of "Saved by the Bell" fame) at an airport recently. Slow news day!

Next week's WWE house shows will feature Jerry Lawler and Booker T. in action, as well as Mick Foley as a guest host. I hope that does good business for them and helps along the careers of the talented younger performers.

The Miz is part of a fantasy football challenge.

Stephanie McMahon has been voted on to the USO's Board of Directors. That's pretty cool.

After the break, I go into the rest of the day's news. Up next, JR has an interview.

Jim Ross talked about his current roles in WWE in an interview primarily covering Sooners football.

Ricardo Rodriguez posted this picture to sell his scary bump from TLC. I pray that makes it to TV.

In the January 2012 issue of WWE Magazine, Mark Henry comments on his status with WWE. It wasn't too awful long ago that he said he was going to retire within 18 months, but I haven't heard anything on that in a while so it looks like maybe he's changed his mind.

WWE put up a press release about winning 6 Mashable Awards.

The following is spoiler-related, regarding a WrestleMania match involving two long-time WWE performers:
The current plan is for Shawn Michaels to referee the rematch between Triple H and Undertaker. That still feels like there needs to be more to it, since the stakes seem to be raised every year. Maybe HHH could put his in-ring career on the line? He is working a lot behind the scenes now.

C.M. Punk was interviewed in Chicago. I very much recommend reading that as he really "gets it".

Mick Foley talked wrestling for 20 minutes.

JR gave his holiday wish list as far as wrestling goes. Interesting idea. I think I'll do the same if I get the chance soon. I like some of those.

Finally, two matches have been added to TNA Genesis: Devon vs. The Pope D'Angelo Dinero and Kurt Angle vs. James Storm.
