Iron Sheik wants memories, Robbie E married, Questions on potential WWE signings (including Chris Hero), WWE 24/7 and Michael Cole, why HHH/Nash is on TLC, Miz interview, TTTT photos, updates on developmental prospects, TNA signs new UK TV deal, more Vickie footage from WWE '12, venue issue for WWE?, Ryder meet and greet, Kelly interview, more from Show at the ACA, new WWE action figures, more on Hepatitis C case, Piper on Celebrity Ghost Stories, Menounos vs. Beth Phoenix?, and the Impact post-show

The Iron Sheik is looking for Christmas cards and letters. I was actually unaware that those accounts were fake. Whoops... hopefully this makes up for that mistake to a degree.

Robbie E was recently married. That would have been great in character.

As for my take on PWInsider.com's questions:
1. I haven't seen anything either. As many tryouts and possible call-ups that've been thrown around lately, I suppose anything's possible.

I could use the exact same answer for 2.

As for 3, I share their enthusiasm for Hero. Good to know that things at least got that far and could be continuing. Hopefully things get sorted out on that end. It'd be very unfortunate if some sort of health issue prevented him form being used in the company. Things continue to seem to be up in the air about his status.

4. I also haven't seen any plans, but that would make sense for them to do.

After the break, I go into the rest of the day's news and questions, starting with why Michael Cole is used so much.
5. They might not even be thinking of what's best for business, just what personally amuses them. A pretty scary concept if you think about it. They probably view him as one of the top characters in the company. It doesn't look like that's going to change anytime soon. He does get a pretty loud negative reaction, but I don't think he should be given so much attention by the company. How many people are tuning in and spending money because of him? That's where their heads need to be.

It's now being reported that Triple H vs. Kevin Nash was added to WWE TLC to hopefully improve the buyrate. The show being so close to Christmas has some worried. I was hoping it was because they're re-thinking the Nash experiment, but apparently not.

The Miz was interviewed ahead of Tribute To The Troops.

WWE.com has a gallery of Vince McMahon, Kofi Kingston, and the Bellas visiting troops. Good for them for doing that.

Jim Ross and Dusty Rhodes gave their opinions on a number of FCW prospects, including Tough Enough's Andy Leavine. I hope some day we see what the trainers saw in him, because so far him winning is somewhat baffling.

TNA has signed a new 2-year TV deal with Challenge TV in the UK and Ireland. Dixie Carter tweeted about the news. They've been doing well there.

Here's more footage of Vickie Guerrero from WWE '12, doing her finishing moves.

WWE is scheduled to run the Bell Centre in Montreal on 3/16/12, but the venue is advertising (and selling tickets) for a boxing event that night.

Zack Ryder had a meet and greet in Waterford, Connecticut.

Kelly Kelly was interviewed in Tampa Bay. Kind of interesting.

WWE has more footage from Big Show being at the American Country Awards. Trace Adkins is a big dude.

Here are some photos of new WWE action figures.

Here's more from Puerto Rico over the Abdullah the Butcher lawsuit, among other miscellaneous items.

"Rowdy" Roddy Piper will be on "Celebrity Ghost Stories", which should be incredibly entertaining.

WWE.com is pushing Maria Menounos' story with Beth Phoenix ahead of Tribute to the Troops. Hmm... how can they have them compete without the Divas' Champion looking vulnerable against a TV host?

Finally, here's the post-show for Impact Wrestling.

That's all for Thursday's news. More to come later. Thanks for reading!
