Bischoff runs down Borash but Magnus defends him, more on Woehrle, Mania celebrity update, Rock and Booker interviews, Question on HHH being subject to the Welness Policy, Santino, Rhodes, Ryder, and HBK, Cena makes a wish, DiBiase update, Kamala and Orndoff talk, Raw rating, Z! TLIS# 57, and the Smackdown dark match

Eric Bischoff took some serious shots at Jeremy Borash. Apparently Borash claimed at a bar that he was one of the owners of TNA, which Bischoff took offense to. The comments weren't received well by long-time TNA employees and fans, as Borash has done a lot of work there over the years (on- and off-screen). Bischoff's taken issue with Borash before, calling him a "mark". This is definitely something TNA should treat as an issue. A member of management running down a long-time employee in a public place (yes, the Internet is considered a public place) is more than a little troublesome.

Update: a number of TNA performers have expressed their support of Borash, and wishes that Dixie Carter would reprimand him (while not expecting that to happen). Magnus did so publicly via Twitter.

Referee Dick Woehrle passed away because of complications due to colon cancer at the age of 81.

As hinted at on Raw, Maria Menounos of Extra will appear at WrestleMania in some capacity. More on this in upcoming posts.

Update: the angle for it was filmed on Wednesday.

The Rock was interviewed ahead of Raw. Twice.

Booker T. was interviewed in Miami. He knows what he's talking about.

For my take on the 3/13 edition of PWInsider.com's questions and the rest of Wednesday's news, hit the break. First up, Is HHH subject to the Wellness Policy given his backstage roles?
1. There's a "Haitch Combo" in here about drugs somewhere, but I need to catch up so I'll spare everyone. I think management should be tested in kind of a "solidarity" move to show that "they're not above the boys" and are subject to the same punishments, etc., but they didn't ask me. Dixie Carter is on the record as saying she tests herself. Anyway, I think that since he does get in the ring from time to time, he'd have to pass physicals and that would be tied in. Good question, though.

2. That's actually a good point. Maybe the Cobra he throws is just a prop/replica/souvenir and he keeps the "real one" in his tights.

3. I hope not. I almost completely agree with their stance here. If Show can survive dressing like Pee-Wee Herman, I think he can keep credibility after a loss to a rising star. That match will be big in seeing how serious WWE is about elevating new stars.

4. Maybe. The main problem with that is that he sells a lot of merchandise as a face with his current gimmick, and as much as I like him (and appreciate his work ethic), I don't think he's ready for that big of a push yet (especially as a heel vs. Cena).

5. Given the big history between HHH, Taker, and HBK (especially in regards to HIAC), it makes a lot of sense to put him there to add intrigue. He retired as a wrestler, not from all appearances ever. I hope Rock does put Cena over (even if he wins and Cena earns his respect). It's in Rock's hometown, so I think there's a notable chance that he wins.

Here's video of John Cena's latest Make-A-Wish venture (as of Monday), meeting with a boy battling cancer. All the respect in the world for John for his commitment to that.

Ted DiBiase's shoulder surgery is said to have gone very well. Good to hear. No word on a comeback just yet.

Kamala talked about his health and career. I can definitely see the argument about his gimmick being offensive. That's a pretty big pay discrepancy. I like his upbeat attitude about his hardships.

Paul Orndorff confirmed that he is now cancer-free. Good to hear! That's not an easy thing to go through.

Raw did a 3.3 rating with hours of 3.20 and 3.35. Not terrible, but on the road to WrestleMania with Rock, HBK, and Taker all advertised as appearing, it should be higher.

Ty Bailey, who worked underneath John Laurinaitis as VP of Talent Relations, was let go by WWE. He oversaw developmental and booked extras for TV tapings. He'd been there since December 2005. No word on why the decision was made to release him.

Here's a bonus edition of Zack Ryder's YouTube show, asking to be on Teddy Long's team at WrestleMania. I like how this show's been incorporated into WWE as a whole. He should definitely be on the card this year given everything he's done to successfully get himself over this year. A real man of the people.

Finally, Brodus Clay beat Epico ahead of Smackdown.

That's all for Wednesday's news. More to hopefully come later tonight. Up next, I finally get to NXT as I continue to try to catch up. Thanks for reading and I apologize for the delays!
