Plenty of Mania hype, change in WWE TV tapings, Questions on a physical WWE Hall, Miz at Mania, Chyna's adult films, and replacing Cena, more from Shane Douglas, head of WCW Power Plant interviewed, video of Arn tribute, Tyson interview, Mania celeb hurt, JoMo mocks HHH/Taker, WWE has a meeting on Twitter, Puerto Rican visitor for WWE, WM29 rumor shot down, ex-Creative member talks McMahon family and more, Smackdown's rating, and what happened after Raw,

Beth Phoenix talked ahead of WrestleMania. I'm not hugely surprised that they're not going with a Divas Title match on the card this year given how hot-and-cold they are with the division. As big as things were for Beth a number of months back, though, it would have seemed a certainty.

The Bella Twins also promoted the big show. Well... kind of. It was more about fashion and other "softball" fare.

The Rock was part of a piece in Variety. Here are some highlights.

Because of it being WrestleMania week, WWE filmed all of NXT, Superstars, and Raw on 3/26. Smackdown will be taped Thursday at AXXESS and will likely feature a lot more in the way of video packages than matches. Things will almost certainly return to normal next week (1/2 of Superstars before Raw, all of NXT and the other 1/2 of Superstars before Smackdown).

For my take on Monday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. They definitely bring up good points. While a physical WWE Hall of Fame would be quite awesome, it wouldn't necessarily be profitable and that's what's going to ultimately determine whether they should do it. There was also WWE Niagara Falls that was eventually closed. Kind of a shame, really.

After the break, I go into everything else from Monday. Next up, The Miz at WrestleMania.
2. While I'd be personally fine with them doing something to save for a rematch, I can really see why using Miz wouldn't make sense given how he's been used in the past number of months.

3. I've seen some pictures that others have posted from the videos, but it's definitely not something I'd be into seeing. I can't believe I just answered that...

4. I think they would have done just about anything within their power to make sure the match happened, but if they weren't able to, I think they should go with Miz in the spot since the two of them actually have something of an issue. Rock could beat him in something of a warm-up match to set up for when Cena's ready.

5. Wasn't/Isn't Zack Ryder a big Warrior fan, too? But yeah, that'd be a pretty cool scenario. The one they came up with could very well be even better, though.

Here's more from the preview of Shane Douglas' YouShoot interview. Quite the interesting tale. I'd especially like to hear his comments on Ric Flair.

The man who headed up the much-maligned Power Plant in WCW was interviewed. Here are some highlights. Batista had some rather unflattering things to say about his time there in his book, to say the least. I recommend checking his comments out before reading the interview.

Here's video from a recent live event, honoring the soon-to-be Hall of Famer, Arn Anderson. Cool stuff.

Mike Tyson mentioned wrestling in a recent Q&A.

Maria Menounos suffered two broken ribs recently, possibly putting her WrestleMania match in doubt. She's continuing to compete on "Dancing With The Stars" despite the injury, so she might be able to pull through.

John Cena had a Q&A with the L.A. Times ahead of Mania. Brief but good.

The former John Morrison did a "battle rap" knocking Triple H and Undertaker ahead of WrestleMania. He must not be pursuing a WWE comeback with those comments. Pretty funny stuff, though.

WWE had a meeting with its roster to discuss the proper use of Twitter and using hashtags to lead their followers towards using more WWE-related tags. No, it's not April Fools' Day. They're looking to get everything they can out of social media.

Chicky Starr visited during WWE's house show in Puerto Rico.

Rosa Mendes, Ted DiBiase, and Lilian Garcia will all be doing WrestleMania-related signings at Walmarts in the Miami area this week.

Shawn Michaels denied the rumors that he'd be coming out of retirement to face Triple H at next year's WrestleMania.  He seems perfectly content to have a life outside of wrestling. He's earned that.

C.M. Punk promoted Raw and WrestleMania in Atlanta.

Michelle McCool will be in attendance at WrestleMania. I wouldn't expect anything more than just attending.

A former member of WWE Creative talked about his experiences with the company. Here's Part 1. Part 2 will be in the next news post. That's a crazy environment to be in for sure. I agree that they really had something with the Punk angle that they didn't fully capitalize on. There were/are some good changes that came out of it, but it hasn't been as big as a lot of us would like.

Dolph Ziggler was also interviewed before WrestleMania. I'd be curious to see some of those ex-Spirit Squad members back in WWE. They definitely did everything to make that gimmick work. Ziggler's a really hard worker and I really like his philosophy of being able to do any character or feud. Hopefully post-Mania, he'll become a big player in the company. Good interview.

Smackdown got a very disappointing 1.82 just 9 nights from WrestleMania. I'd be taking notice of all this if I was in WWE. What they do between this Mania and next year's will be important.

After Raw, The Miz confronted The Rock and demanded an apology for the People's Elbow he got at last year's WrestleMania. After some back and forth, Miz received another one.

That's all for Monday's news. Tuesday's will come tomorrow before NXT. Thanks for reading and I apologize for running late!
