Questions on Rock/Cena promos, unifying the top titles, Rock post-Mania, and the best year for WWE, RVD update, Rhodes joins Twitter, Cena talks Rock, Punk visits a WWE warehouse, Slammiversary set, and what happened after Victory Road

For the 3/18 edition of PWInsider.com's questions, here's my take:
1. The only thing I can really add here is that while the storyline is rooted in reality to some degree, there won't be any kind of "going off-script" as far as one of them legitimately trying to hurt the other at Mania. There's a difference in business philosophies, but they don't "hate" each other.

2. Michaels also had the World Title when it was just on Raw, but I see what you're getting at. I don't think they should combine the titles. I like the idea of there being a top prize on each brand worth fighting for (for it to work better, brands should be more separate - like the American League and National League in baseball where there's some interplay but not all the time like now). I agree that they should work on elevating younger guys. Like maybe give C.M. Punk the WWE Title and have him face Chris Jericho at WrestleMania. Or, say, Cody Rhodes could have a long reign as Intercontinental Champion and face the Big Show. Or even Daniel Bryan becoming World Champion, facing Sheamus (who would win the Royal Rumble). Obviously all those ides are farfetched, though, because WWE doesn't elevate younger talents. I'm tired of the big roles for Cena and Orton, who are like, what, 45?

After the break, I go into everything else from Sunday, starting with a question on future feuds for The Rock.

3. I'd love to see either of those feuds. I think I'd also be ok with Cena/Rock going that far. IF Cena gets the big rub at the end.

4. Somewhere in that timeframe ('98-'00) for sure due to some degree to "nostalgia goggles". Austin, Rock, Taker, Jericho, Angle, and Benoit in top spots was quite the treat.

There's nothing to really add to 5, so I'll move on:

Rob Van Dam is expected back on TV for TNA shortly. No word on whether he'll come back in a suit pretending to be his own brother. Seriously, though, I hope he's used in a way that builds the company and its talent up long-term instead of just reliving the past.

Cody Rhodes joined Twitter after being adamant that he wouldn't.

John Cena briefly talked about The Rock ahead of WrestleMania. Wow. Time's flying towards 4/1.

C.M. Punk posted a number of pictures from a WWE warehouse. Fun stuff!
Casket match caskets. Ladder match ladders. The old sign from WCW Thunder. Some tagged lockers, courtesy of Mosh and Thrasher. A Summerslam chair from 1996. And a banner from WrestleMania V.

TNA Slammiversary is set for 6/10 in Arlington, TX. Panda Energy has an office in Dallas if I'm not mistaken, so that could be a part of why that location was chosen.

After Victory Road went off the air, the fans chanted "Fire Bobby". Roode stood over Dixie Carter and Sting until D'Lo Brown, Al Snow, and Simon Diamond helped the fallen President. Amazing angle.

That's all for Sunday's news. More to come later as I continue to catch up. Thanks for reading and I apologize for the lateness!
