Query on a Raw dark match, more Mania/HoF promotion including discussion of blood and WM28 vs. WM3, Questions on Taker being out of the title picture, the more-than-Four Horsemen, indies ahead of WM29, Knockouts in a cage, and the Pope, Windham update, Austin Q&A, Finkel interview, Sting re-signs with TNA, and Angle injured

Since someone asked about it: To the best of my knowledge, there was no Raw dark match this week. They taped more stuff than they usually do on Mondays so they could head out to Miami for WrestleMania (Smackdown will be taped at AXXESS). This is also why NXT and Superstars were somewhat lacking in in-ring action this week. When there are two tapings in a week (and Smackdown isn't live), they're more likely to do dark matches.

There were plenty of Mania-related videos posted on WWE's YouTube channel, including stars answering Twitter questions.

Sheamus was interviewed in Baltimore. It's especially fun to imagine him saying those things in his signature accent.

Arn Anderson talked about being inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame and more.

Jerry Lawler talked in Miami.

As for my take on PWInsider.com's questions:
1. As they said, sometimes a character is a big enough draw that they don't need to be in the title picture to be useful. John Cena's in a similar position now.

After the break, I go into everything else from Thursday. Next up, a question on inducting other Horsemen.

2. If you mean as part of the Horsemen, it makes more sense to me to induct the most iconic grouping of that faction (Ole's vendetta preventing him from being put in). When they hypothetically induct the nWo, I think it should be Hogan, Hall, and Nash for similar reasons. It's the Four Horsemen (and their manager), not every Horseman ever. While they didn't push the HoF as much as they usually do, it did get video packages in the weeks leading up to Mania.

3. As they said, way too early to tell.

4. I don't see why they wouldn't have one.

5. I'd like to know this as well. He pretty much disappeared off the face of the earth when that feud wrapped up. They could just not have any idea what to do with him going forward. That's a shame. Talented guy.

Barry Windham is expected to attend the WWE Hall of Fame despite health issues.

The Rock was profiled ahead of Mania. John Cena also has quotes in the piece.

WrestleMania 28 was compared to WrestleMania 3.

The Atlantic asks whether or not there will be blood during Sunday's Cell match. I don't think it's strictly a PG thing. There's also the factor of blood-borne illnesses. That being said, the two of them got away with a chair shot to the head last year (with a fine), so maybe we see it after all.

Ric Flair talked about the Hall of Fame.

Stone Cold answered some wrestling-related questions. Good stuff as always.

Here's another Sheamus interview. He handled himself really well. I like that he re-assessed himself after being taken off the card last year, and went back to the basics of how to get the crowd responding to him. So many performers over-think things after being de-pushed and never recover.

Mike Tyson talked about his own HoF induction.

Howard Finkel talked about his decades as part of WWE.

Hall of Famers-to-be Tully Blanchard and Ron Simmons talked.

In a not entirely surprising move, Sting has re-signed with TNA.

Kurt Angle says that he has a torn hamstring, which could put his Olympics hopes on the shelf. An MRI is scheduled for 3/30.

Update: He also talked about it in Pittsburgh. Lockdown (which comes before the Olympics trials) could also be in jeopardy. I guess they can do Hardy vs. Anderson in a pinch.

That's all for Thursday's news. More to come tonight/early tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
