Foley and Maxine interviews, posters for WM28 and Extreme Rules, Questions on fans at the HoF, Cena vs. Rock, RVD, and Gail leaving WWE, Hogan shoots on Warrior, WWE reaches to Latin American audience with new office, WWE moves PPV, Mysterio update, Konnan shoot preview, Bourne update, FCW appearances, new WWE signing, and a Mark Henry update

Mick Foley gave an interview about where he'd like to be at WrestleMania. I think having such a big name at commentary for HHH/Taker would kind of take away from things, since we'd be expecting some kind of run-in or something from him. JR should get the call. Foley running interference in the match could work. If they're going to go all out with nostalgia in the match and finally settle it, Foley could add to that.

Maxine, who you should all be watching on NXT, was interviewed by Mynorthwest.com. I'd think studying criminals would lend itself well to being a villainous character? She's quite good on the mic and coming along well in the ring. If you're tired of the Divas matches we see on Raw and Smackdown, her matches with Kaitlyn have been a breath of fresh air.

InDemand.com has the posters and descriptions for WM28 and Extreme Rules. Will Rock/Cena really be a one-time thing? There's GOT to be money in a rematch. Interesting that Mysterio's advertised. Could he be making a surprise appearance after all?

Update: WWE could bring him in for at least a cameo if they try to break the Guiness World Record for most lucha masks at one event. Is it too soon for him to give the on-screen rub to Sin Cara? They could come out together to wave to the crowd, etc. and give an update on their respective conditions.

After the break I go into my take on PWInsider.com's questions and the rest of the day's news. First, should fans be allowed at the WWE Hall of Fame?

1. Another question where both sides make good points. I think if they add to what's going on and respect the performers, it's great. Otherwise, "this is why we can't have nice things". Can you imagine a Hall of Fame in Philly (that wasn't ECW related)? That could be disastrous and embarrassing for what should be a prestigious night. That being said, I don't think WWE's alone with public induction ceremonies and wrestling is pretty much built on crowd interaction.

2. I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that! I guess on Leap Day, he just plays pre-filmed vignettes.

3.  That's a valid point, but I guess it could be argued that part of Rock's character is that he's so busy doing non-WWE things that he needs crib notes to deliver in front of an audience, or is disingenuous and just spouting pre-written lines. As long as they don't go into "someone else writes what we say because this is all fake" territory, I guess I'm ok with it. It's kind of a case-by-case thing.

4. I know there was a rumor at one point that he'd be leaving TNA to go back to WWE (leading to the injury angle with Gunner). If he signed a 2-year deal shortly before his TNA debut and hasn't renewed, it'd be coming up soon. Given some of the egotistical comments he's made and his backstage reputation, I can't say I'm 100% in favor of him being pushed too highly. It's about the future of the business after all.

5. According to Gail, those in the back who did notice didn't care. They kept her for the remainder of her contract, then she was officially free to go. Since she wasn't prematurely released, there was no 90-day clause.

Hulk Hogan had some derogatory comments for Warrior.

WWE has opened an office in Miami to better tap into their Latin American markets. Good for them.

WWE has moved its 7/15 Money In The Bank PPV from Las Vegas to Phoenix, AZ. That doesn't sound like a good omen as far ticket sales for the event. Disappointing.

Here's a preview of a shoot with Konnan. I'd take some of his words with some salt. Should be good either way.

Evan Bourne's suspension is slated to end on 3/17. I haven't seen anything about him being advertised for events or anything, so just because it will be over then I wouldn't assume that he'll be back at that time. Given the heat he had for failing a second test in 3 months, it could be a while before he pops back up. Some even speculate that he won't be back, period. More on this as it develops.

Sheamus, Dusty Rhodes, Jinder Mahal, Justin Gabriel, and Cody Rhodes will all be making special appearances at FCW shows in March. See FCW's website for specifics.

Mexican performer Hijo del Medico Asesino, who has apparently been in FCW for a few months now, has been rechristened Benicio Salazar and is now maskless.

Mark Henry claims he's 100% now. I hope so. TOUGH guy. Hopefully 2012 will be a good year for him.

That's all for Thursday's news. More to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
