Query on the Hardy Boys-WWE, Joey Styles interview, Hart shoots down HoF rumor, Rock/Cena special update, Kevin Sullivan interview, Questions on AJ Styles-WWE HoF, Kane vs. Aksana, Divas, and Brie vs. Nikki, Edge and Vader interviews, FCW signee profiled, Rock on Seacrest, HBK on ESPN, new celeb match at Mania, and a Bret Hart interview

The news for 3/15 starts with a query:
1. No word on a Hardy Boys return to WWE. I wouldn't put a high probability on it. While Matt did return to the ring not too long ago, I haven't heard him change his stance on no longer being a full-time wrestler (and I'm not so sure WWE would take him back under a reduced schedule). While I'm proud to say that life seems to be improving for him post-rehab, I don't know if WWE's willing to take another chance on him just yet. The older he gets, the less likely I think it will happen. Jeff's still in TNA, and I haven't seen anything to suggest that that will change anytime soon. He's pretty much a major player there.

Never one to shy away from controversy, Joey Styles gave his opinions on a number of recent news topics. He should do shoots like Jim Cornette. I think it might be a little early to put in Paul Heyman, and Bill Apter would be an odd fit in the WWE Hall of Fame. JR definitely should call HHH/Taker to put a bow on the whole thing. I don't blame Cole as much as WWE Management's direction for him. There's way too much arguing on the announce teams at the expense of the talents in the ring. NXT and Superstars I generally have no problem with announcing-wise, but the main shows at times have me wanting to pull my hair out.

Bret Hart shot down the rumor that he'll be inducting Yokozuna into the 2012 Hall of Fame class, stating that he hadn't been contacted on the matter. It might have just been talk of asking him that never materialized.

The USA Network special on The Rock vs. John Cena will be called "Rock/Cena - Once In A Lifetime". It will air before the 3/26 Raw. There's got to be more than one match in this feud.

After the break, I go into everything else from 3/15, including PWInsider.com's questions. Next up, Kevin Sullivan talks.

Ex-WCW booker Kevin Sullivan talked about WCW, MMA affecting wrestling, and more. Supposedly WCW was already losing millions and millions of dollars by the time it was actually killed off. AOL certainly has a big part in its downfall, but there were some big mistakes there pre-AOL. As for MMA, there are promos before fights and the Super Bowl is more like a PPV than a weekly show (where there's a lot less talking). The draw of wrestling isn't just violence. There are also stories being told that draw people in.

For my take on PWInsider.com's questions:
1. This was a very rambling question. Sting's not in the HoF (though I think he will be some day). Rick Rude could end up there, too. I don't see why WWE should acknowledge people's accomplishments in outside organizations that aren't in the "same league" as them- to a lot of fans, R-Truth has never been World Champion because they know little if anything about TNA. I'd be HUGELY surprised if AJ Styles made it into the WWE Hall unless it's years after WWE hypothetically buys TNA, nor should they put him in until then (why promote the "other guys"?). Drew Carey was in the Royal Rumble in some sort of publicity stunt years ago, and he got in the HoF off of that.

2. Good point. He was likely just ticked off at Teddy and thought he could do "whatever he wanted" while in charge of Smackdown. He might have said it in anger, without considering the consequences. That's pretty common for people.

3. I wouldn't blame the writers as much as the people directing them. They generally do what they're told to do if they want to stay employed. It's kind of weird about the Divas as Trish Stratus and Victoria were former models as well, but got the crowd into what they're doing beyond "hot chicks are fighting" and WWE decided to give them more to work with. Though nowadays, the Divas are told at times not to wrestle like the men do for whatever reason.

Nothing to add to 4, but for 5. I think they did it on NXT Season 3? If not, I'm pretty sure they've faced off at least once as they've done the whole "one's the nice twin and one's the mean twin" thing before. They could have them dress differently (like the Sin Cara situation) to differentiate them.

Edge gave another pre-Hall of Fame interview. Good read. I'm looking forward to a potential second autobiography. He seems like quite the smart guy (I like his mindset about needing a payoff to work any angle). I hope he has a great post-wrestling career.

Vader talked about the fight that got him fired from WCW. Wrestling's thankfully not that volatile these days.

R-Truth was officially added to Theodore Long's WrestleMania team.

Derek Foore, a standout college wrestler, was profiled ahead of going into FCW. I hope he lives up to expectations, especially since he won't be done with college academically when he heads there.

Here's audio of The Rock on Ryan Seacrest's radio show promoting WrestleMania. It's nice to have that Hollywood cross-over.

Shawn Michaels also discussed WrestleMania. The Attitude Era definitely "went there" in a lot of ways like Rock and Cena are now. Maybe we should start going back in that direction?

Following a segment on "Extra", co-host Maria Menounos will team with Kelly Kelly to take on Eve and Beth Phoenix at WrestleMania. Maria's a long-time wrestling fan and will take the match seriously. I hope it benefits the business as a whole. I don't know how may people watch "Extra", but she's also on "Dancing With The Stars" this season. So, a lot of eyeballs will be on her and MAYBE that means more money for WWE at Mania.

Bret Hart was interviewed by Arda Ocal. Here's Part 1.

That's all for Thursday's news. More to come when I'm able. Thanks for reading and I apologize for being so far behind!
