Main Event Reax - 5/1/13, potential new WWE trademark, Sabin update, TNA Creative doing their jobs, 2014 HoF inductee, why Fandango's dancer changed, NXT call-up?, NXT guests, Batista update, and Questions on sending talents home, Rock returning, going national, championships, and Fandango

Main Event:
Good Cesaro promo. I hope he's got a good future ahead of him.

WOW. Both men get applause for that match. Cesaro could really go places and Kingston continues to deliver with his high-flying offense. I hope Management gets behind these two as they look for the headliners of tomorrow.

Really good babyface promo from Kofi. How hard is it to give people mic time?

And just like that, Cesaro is redeemed. I can forget about that whole "yodeling" thing if they keep this up. Great segment to get over his viciousness as a heel.

Wow. Gabriel and Slater have really grown from their NXT Season 1 days. I think Gabriel in particular has a good future ahead of him, though Slater showed that he's no one to take lightly.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

WWE has applied to register the trademark "Crush Couture". No word on what the heck that is.

TNA could be planning a big push for the returning Chris Sabin. Maybe we should see what he can do first? It'll be interesting to see how far he gets. I honestly never saw him as anything more than an X-Division/Tag Team guy. If he wasn't such a TNA vet, I don't know if he'd be getting such a big push.

TNA is currently putting together the next 6 months of storylines. Wow. That's amazing. They do a pretty good job in the story department. There are fewer writers and Dixie isn't as overbearing and perfectionist as Vince. I think that's what you can attribute it all to.

Paul Bearer is intended to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame next year. The Undertaker or Michael hayes are likely inductors. Of course, Taker generally doesn't appear at the Hall because of his character. Of course, most people associate Bearer and Taker so it would make perfect sense for Taker to do the honors. That said, Hayes is a pretty good choice given how long he had known Bearer.

WWE is using Summer Rae as Fandango's dancer in case she needs to be involved physically. As was mentioned, she's been training in NXT.

Speaking of Summer Rae, she was featured on Sports Illustrated's Hot Clicks.

WWE is considering bringing up NXT's Bray Wyatt. He's gotten pretty high marks for his work down there. It's very different from his Husky Harris persona. I'd love to see what he could do on the main roster. Maybe he could take a tag team that's floundering and make them the new Wyatt Family? I'm thinking Primo and Epico.

Speaking of NXT, Perry Saturn and Terry Taylor have worked down there recently. It's obvious that WWE cares about the future of THIS BUSINESS with the people they're using there.

Dolph Ziggler's ex-girlfriend discussed him on "Conan". I wonder if he had to job to her previous boyfriend before dating her.

Batista shot down WWE return rumors. Who started those rumors? I hadn't seen anything suggesting it was a possibility. Don't go expecting him to come back, so if he does, it's a nice surprise.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. HHH is the VP of Talent Relations, so that makes sense.

2. I wouldn't rule it out. If he gets a big dream role that interferes with Mania season, then maybe not. But I think he'd be up for facing Brock if the stars aligned. I guess it's like the Batista stuff: assume he won't come back so you're not disappointed if he doesn't. Then, if he does come back, it's a boost.

3. Yeah, I can see that argument. I don't think that makes Vince any less talented for doing what he did, though. He made wrestling a really big deal in a way that others didn't/couldn't.

4. The belt just signifies who the bookers want to look important. It doesn't mean someone isn't talented or worthy of a top spot if they never hold it. At the end of the day, it's more of a TV show or movie than a sport and I think people lose track of that.

5. Yeah, how dare a heel not want people to cheer for him. People REALLY don't get the face/heel thing these days.

More wrestling tomorrow.
