Reigns profiled, looks back at Garza, Interviews with Hendrix/Rock/Gabriel, more from Hogan, and Questions on WWE booking The Shield, WWE Creative, Alex Shelley, and building new stars in TNA

Roman Reigns was profiled. He came across well. He's got some impressive size and a good look. He's not much different from other "power guys" but he plays his role well and that's all he needs to do for now.

PWTorch.com looked back at the life of Hector Garza, looking at comments from Dixie Carter and Konnan.

PWInsider.com has a more in-depth look. I really only saw him for his brief TNA stint, so I can't say much. A "tecnico" is a babyface while a "rudo" is a heel. If you think current wrestling is bad, look at the story about WCW. All in all, this was a really good read by someone who clearly knows his stuff.

Here's a little bit of an interview with TNA's Taeler Hendrix. Anytime I've seen her on the main roster, I didn't think she was ready, brother. More time in OVW would do her well. She's only 23. There's plenty of time for her to grow before they get behind her.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

The Rock talked about being injured at WrestleMania... again. Obviously this is a high-quality journalistic article because they screwed up both Cena's name and Rock's age. Derp.

Justin Gabriel was interviewed ahead of WWE touring (where else?) South Africa. Taker never felt pain? Dude's pretty much held together by duct tape at this point. And, of course, it's BRET Hart and Wade BARRETT. It doesn't have to be an insult to the thinking man, though sometimes parts of it feel that way. Gabriel vs. Barrett would be a nice feud if it elevated Gabriel without bringing Barrett down.

Hulk Hogan apologized for the pictures he posted on Twitter after his injury. They were pretty gruesome.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Yeah, they looked pretty bad when they BEAT ORTON, SHEAMUS, AND KOFI. They just won the U.S. and Tag Team Titles. They might not be as dominant as they used to be, but they're still pretty high on the pecking order and no one looks like they can take them down. There's just no satisfying some people.

2. WWE stopped referring to itself as wrestling a long time ago. They don't consider what they do as professional wrestling. They have superstars who do sports entertainment. As such, they're generally not looking for people who have experience in the wrestling world to write things.

3. Swagger and Colter protested the controversial Instant Replay ending, the referee in the LMS match said that he was too shocked to do the count, and count-outs are at the referee's discretion. Of course, you can lose a match via submission without tapping out if you tell the referee to ring the bell, etc.. I know it's convenient to ignore these things when you want to bash WWE, but the facts are the facts.

4. Remember when the dirtsheets "knew" that he was going to WWE? Yeah, that never happened. He hasn't been mentioned because he's basically off the radar of American wrestling.

5. I definitely agree that they need to get behind some new stars (and I think they will with AJ Styles at BFG), but I also think people focus too much on age. Bully Ray's doing some great work at 41. Kurt Angle's still got "it" at 44. Joseph Park's one of the best characters there and he's 39.

More wrestling tomorrow.
