What happened after Raw, another Punk update, Dean shoots on Holly, good news for TNA, Interviews with Helms/DDP/Molly Holly, WWE return updates, new WWE signings, Raw audience, and Questions on the WWE HoF, Nash, changing WWE, and Bruno's future

John Cena and Team Hell No beat The Shield by DQ after Raw after the heels used a steel chair. The faces stood tall to end things (as always).

C.M. Punk is being advertised for the 6/24 live event in North Charleston, SC. However, these is still no set timetable for his return and this could very well be an error.

The former Simon Dean shot on Bob Holly. I think it's pretty obvious how Dean likes him now. This one takes some explanation: I definitely think Holly has a pretty terrible reputation (whether it's justified or not is not my call). For the Rene Dupree incident, the story goes that the two of them had rented a car together and there was some kind of issue that Holly had to clear up. He took his anger out on Dupree in the ring on a live event, intentionally hurting him. Not the most professional way to take care of that. As for Lesnar, the rumor hoes that he tried to "sandbag" (intentionally not assist) Lesnar during a powerbomb to make it harder for Lesnar to deliver it (and making Lesnar look less strong in the process for not getting him up for it). How'd that end for Holly, you ask? See for yourself.

Brock's face when:

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Garett Bischoff is said to have been earning respect from the TNA locker room for his hard work and improvement. That's good. I hope he continues in that vein.

TNA is trying to do more local press conferences and media events ahead of their events coming to town. That's a great idea. They need to get the word out to people who aren't already familiar with the product.

Shane ("Gregory", "Hurricane") Helms was interviewed. The first paragraph is right on the money. Only a certain audience sees live events, Superstars, and SMS (and the latter two can be edited). Give people some promo time! People will fail, but sometimes failing is how you learn! While I do think some people could use more polishing before making it to the main WWE roster (and more pre-WWE experience), there are few people who aren't really all that good. And he hit the nail on the head about ROH and the indies as well. Someone get this guy an executive job in WWE.

Diamond Dallas Page has a YouShoot DVD coming out. I really hope someone asked about the Mick Foley/Stone Cold cookie story. I like the Coke/Pepsi comparison. DDP is awesome. BANG!!!!

Here are highlights from a Molly Holly interview. Not terribly exciting stuff, but I'm sure that guy who sends in all of the questions about her is pleased.

The Miz was originally scheduled to be on Raw, but filming his current movie took longer than expected. WWE could use some star power right now.

Evan Bourne is expected to return to TV soon. A team with Justin Gabriel would be pretty cool. It'll be interesting to see what he does if/when Adrian Neville makes it to the main roster since they have similar finishers. Maybe they team and do something where Bourne hits his finish on one opponent, and then Neville does his finisher on the other.

Smith James, yes "Smith James", has been signed by WWE. More info on him here. He's a protege of Taz's finishing school. He's got some nice size for sure.

JAPW referee Matt Bennett has also been signed by the company. You need some good refs.

The most recent Raw dropped over 300,000 viewers from the previous week, landing at 3.92 million viewers. This is the lowest-viewed show since New Year's Eve. It might be worth taking a risk with Ryback taking the title.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I think he'll make it in. He's a big enough star.

2. Pretty much that. I wish they could undo Nash's last run. It made sense to place him opposite Punk given their different philosophies of the business, but I don't think things worked out nearly as well as WWE wanted. I'm not really a fan of him as a featured star (and neither are a lot of others).

3. That's like 4 questions! In an "ideal" scenario under the Walker/Loy administration:
a. Yes, I'd try to make better use of the lower card and NXT performers. Use the top guys less so they mean more, and hope to get people to care about some other performers.

b. I think every show needs its own identity and (at least to some degree) different performers. I'd strongly consider splitting the rosters and writing teams. Even Superstars and SMS would have their own teams.

c. I wouldn't merge any titles. They're fine as they are. I would like to see them be more important, though. Getting rid of the midcard titles instead of rebuilding them is silly in my eyes. 6 titles is fine given how much TV time they have to fill and how many superstars they have.

4. Owen in the Hall of Fame?
Martha's one of the greatest heels of all-time.

5. Yes! A DVD is on its way, he might end up on TV, and there are plans to include him in video games and such.

More wrestling tomorrow.
