Fallout from NJPW PPV cancellation, AJ to address Bullet Club attacks, WWE painter to work live at future taping, future ROH matches, TNA airing in new international market, ManU player to WWE?, new WWE trademarks, Raw audience, top UFC name heading to WWE?, more on TNA's financial problems, Stone Cold facing surgery, WWE live event note, and Questions on TNA's financial situation, unrecognizable wrestlers, AJ Styles in WWE's HoF, WWE working with Bret, and Vince sabotaging TNA

With NJPW's recent PPV cancellation, the matches set for that event will instead take place on their April 27 and May 3 shows.

AJ Styles will appear on MizTV on  Smackdown to discuss the attacks by Gallows and Anderson. Him joining the duo as heels is way too obvious, and would hurt AJ's momentum as a face a mere three months into his WWE career.

Rob Schamberger will be painting live at the May 2 Raw taping. I'm glad WWE is working with him.

ACH vs. Roderick Strong has been added to ROH's show in Rhode Island.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
TNA has announced some of their content will begin airing on FX in the Middle East on May 20. Hopefully that's a good move for them financially; they need some good news right now.

The Addiction vs. Jushin Liger and Cheeseburger has been set for the May 8 Global Wars PPV. That's a really interesting combination; it should make for a pretty unique match.

Manchester United soccer player Rio Ferdinand is teasing joining WWE. I don't know how willing WWE would be to consider it at his age, outside of a special situation like Stephen Amell or Shaq.

WWE has applied to trademark the names of Austin Aries, Apollo Crews, Baron Corbin, Hideo Itami, and Bayley. I think those are good signs of WWE's faith in them as drivers of revenue going forward. Otherwise, they wouldn't pay to trademark their ring names. I hope Itami's career gets back in motion before too much longer; he's losing valuable time by remaining injured on the sidelines.

Raw's audience Monday was 3.34 million viewers, 15 days after Wrestlemania. Are casual fans tuning out because they don't know these newer names being spotlighted? It's worth noting Triple H and Stephanie have been absent from TV entirely despite being in the main event at WM32.

UFC fighter Conor McGregor has decided to retire, leading to speculation of him trying to come to WWE. It's definitely worth considering on WWE's part; he's still a few years from 30.

Jim Ross analyzed TNA's current financial situation and Stone Cold's rotator cuff injury. It's unfortunate Austin was hurt at WM32. In hindsight, I think a lot of people wish Jeff Jarrett and Toby Keith got TNA instead of Jeff forming GFW.

The team of Zack Ryder and Darren Young worked together at a WWE live event in the UK. I'm interested to see if PTP reforms soon with Titus returning.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. It definitely looks like the company will be seeing some new managers soon. They can only keep going like they're going for so long. At the end of the day, I want to see what's best for the wrestlers and for wrestling fans: the people putting their bodies on the line getting paid, and the people who love the business being able to see their work on a big enough scale.

2. I didn't recognize Sunny for a time with her being known as Tammy Sytch. Wrestlers are a lot more visible in 2016 due to video footage of conventions, having their own social media presences, and the like.

3. I think WWE buying TNA's footage would be a deciding factor for me. If they can't illustrate the majority of his career, the induction would be lacking. I think he'd be worthy of going in if they have those assets, though, along with Samoa Joe.

4. WWE management knows they can make money/get reactions by using Bret, and that's the main thing they care about. Bret gets some more spotlight if they use him, too, so it's a win-win.

5. That's not a question, but there's nothing to suggest anything along those lines. TNA using Hogan got them their most publicity and biggest audience ever on the first Monday night Impact; that's hardly a way to damage them.

More wrestling tomorrow.
