NXT preview, Swagger rumorkiller, Slammiversary set, Balor-NXT update, and Questions on turning Nikita Koloff face, Finn dropping the title, why WWE hasn't bought TNA yet, when we'll see a physical HoF, the Red Rooster, and why there's so much Saxton on WWE TV

This week's NXT will feature:
- Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Elias Samson
- Asuka vs. Eva Marie
- Carmella vs. Aliyah
- Hype Bros vs. Blake and Murphy
- The Revival in action

In a correction to an earlier statement I made, they're unlikely to show content from AXXESS on future episodes as there's another TV taping coming up this week. As such, this week will probably be the last episode using content from Dallas. That's a good thing, as new content will get the brand's momentum moving forward again.

Jack Swagger recently put out a tweet that some interpreted as him leaving WWE. He later confirmed it was in reference to the European tour ending. It's a real shame Zeb Colter wasn't on that tour; he was AMAZING at getting heat when they were there together on a previous tour.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Slammiversary 2016 is scheduled for June 12 in the Impact Zone. That's one week before the 14th anniversary of their first show. I'm a little surprised they didn't tape an additional episode (even if it's a "Road to Slammiversary" hype show) so they could hit the anniversary right on the nose.

At the most recent NXT live event in New York, Finn Balor took the mic after the last match and told the crowd he's staying in NXT. I wouldn't be surprised if he was told to do that after telling some fans after the last show that he'd "see them on Monday." Hopefully Finn does still work through Takeover in June and works the big UK/Ireland tour. I imagine a lot of fans bought tickets to see the Irishman compete.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. God the kayfabe era was so great. Babyfaces and heels not even sharing a locker room.

2. Another reason: it let Finn have the longest reign ever before dropping it. All that said, they're having TV tapings this week. Would it have been so hard to hold off until them for him to drop the title, getting his rematch/last NXT match at the June Takeover special? I guess they want him on Raw ASAP without the title.

3. I think WWE's biding its time until TNA's in a position where they're totally out of other options, so WWE can swoop in and get them really cheap. Right now, TNA still has international TV deals keeping it afloat and other potential buyers. WWE doesn't want to get into a bidding war if they can just "wait a few years for TNA to be on the deathbed." But yes, Dixie's still committed to keeping TNA in operation, even if she has to lose part of her ownership in order for it to continue. So, they're not out of the game just yet.

4. I'm a little surprised they didn't take the spot in Orlando people were speculating they'd take to put the Hall of Fame in. I'd like to think it'll be open inside of ten years, hopefully sooner if they find a place they think will be a good home for it.

5. Before that, he was an executive in TNA.

6. I think the long-term plan is for him to replace one of the older commentators when they get ready to retire or move on to something else. So, he's getting a lot of experience and exposure for when that day comes. It takes time for someone to grow into a reputable top commentator.

More wrestling tomorrow.
