Main Event Reax - 12/13/19, NXT UK star battling disease, Network adding more episodes, assorted wrestling press, RetroMania adding indie name, AJ Lee comments on return, WWE's latest social media expansion, TNT executives at AEW show, NXT injury, WWE PPV match adds stipulation, new Dynamite matches, WWE content in UK streaming package, ROH name looking for bookings, NXT live event notes, and Smackdown's dark match

-- Main Event:
- Jose vs. EY:
Silly, as expected.

Can't help but think it's time for something new from Jose.

Not bad.

- Ricochet vs. Cedric:
This could be nice.

Haha I liked the dueling handstand spots.

I like the story here.

Good work!

NXT UK's Piper Niven announced battling Bell's Palsy. That's awful. I hope it doesn't hold her back. It does sound like she's taking it in stride.

WWE Network is adding more "WWE Confidential" episodes Monday.

Kofi Kingston and Big E appeared at a Minnesota NBA game, saving the mascot from a beatdown. That's amazing.

RetroMania is doing an IndieMania contest that will result in an unsigned wrestler being added to the game. That's very clever.

AJ Lee shot down appearing on WWE Backstage or otherwise returning to wrestling.

Sheamus has a new T-shirt. That's a really good design, though it doesn't refer to him in any way. Regardless, I'm curious what he does when he returns. I kind of want to see him join or feud with the international coalition of Sami, Shinsuke, and Cesaro.

Titus O'Neil promoted a Tampa charity event.

WWE has debuted a TikTok account. I swear there's a new social media thing every six months.

TNT executives were at Dynamite this week. The show has consistently outperformed their expectations.

Fandango injured his elbow on NXT. It's unknown if he'll miss any time.

Final Battle was promoted on local billboards. Glad to see Sinclair invest in them there.

ROH stars visited a local children's hospital before Final Battle. Glad to see it.

Shane Taylor promoted Final Battle. Man, he's a trooper given the very public reports of ROH not renewing his deal. I hope other companies are paying attention.

TLC's Smackdown Tag Team Championship match is now a ladder match. Should be good, though of course it's another case of a gimmick being added to a match more or less for the sake of having one instead of a feud setting up a big blowoff.

Dynamite has added:
- Cody and Darby Allin vs. The Butcher and The Blade
- Lucha Bros vs. Kenny Omega and Hangman Page
- Britt Baker vs. Kris Statlander is a number one contender's match for the AEW Women's Championship.

WWE content will be included in BT Sports' upcoming streaming service.

Cheeseburger is seeking outside bookings. I wouldn't assume that means he's leaving ROH.

At NXT's December 13 Florida live event:
- Mohamed Fahim worked his first live event since November 9, losing to Brendan Vink.
- Shane Thorne worked his first live event since October 25, losing to Kushida

Finn Balor worked his first live event since October 20 Friday night, defeating Keith Lee.

Before Friday Night Smackdown, Kalisto defeated Drew Gulak.

More wrestling tomorrow.
