Interviews with HHH/Roode, comments on TNA's TV status, Gut Check, why Bellas missed WWE tour, Rock update, Raw audience, live event notes, and Questions on Easy E

Triple H was interviewed on a number of topics, including a physical WWE Hall of Fame. He came across really well as a businessman. Orlando is indeed a good place for things like WrestleMania. I'm a little surprised that he's ok with his in-ring career winding down and working for the future given his reputation as a selfish egomaniac.

TNA stars commented on the Spike TV-Rogers Cable predicament. Bad luck wrestling promotion: The show's actually good, but it's now harder to watch legally.

Bobby Roode talked about a number of subjects. I'm glad he's still with TNA and agree that it's good that they're going on the road more.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

TNA has another Gut Check scheduled for 5/4 in Baton Rouge, LA. I hope they find some talented people there and get them started on the road to superstardom.

Jeff Hardy was interviewed... by kids. He's definitely "different", especially in TNA. Man. These kids weren't even alive when he got his start in WWE. They weren't even alive when the TLC-type stuff was going on. These... these poor kids! Won't someone think of the children!?

The Bella Twins were not a part of WWE's European tour because they were promoting "Total Divas" in the States. Makes sense. I don't think people missed too much with them not being on the tour. Of note, Daniel Bryan will appear on the show as he is dating one of the Divas. That might be the most interesting part of the show.

The Rock's surgery was a success. He had three different tears in his abdomen. It's hard to hate this guy. He eats pancakes and wears a Superman shirt at 40. Maybe we should all aspire to be a little more like him.

The latest edition of Raw got 4.4 million viewers. I definitely think you can attribute at least part of that to The Undertaker's presence. Hopefully those viewers were impressed with The Shield, Daniel Bryan, and Ryback (among others) and become more regular consumers of the show.

Brad Maddox competed on the 4/23 live event, losing to Michael McGillicutty. Very odd that William Regal didn't have that spot. The show was notable as it took place on John Cena's 36th birthday. The babyfaces acknowledged this after Cena's match with Ryback. I hold Cena in pretty high regard as a person and a performer, even if I don't like some of his specific actions.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
The first two questions are pretty specific to them, so I'll skip to 3. That is interesting. She seems to let Bischoff and Hogan do pretty much whatever the hell they want with no repercussions, possibly due to their successes in a bygone era. Maybe she's afraid of losing them?

4 is pretty straight-forward. On to 5. I think Hogan also probably had a hand in his hiring and push. He isn't terrible.

More wrestling tomorrow, and a Blue Echo podcast coming up.
