Main Event Reax - 4/10/13, Impact taping schedule, Rock update, another Hogan Twitter story, Fandango madness continues, Comic Con appearances, more Mania stories, Orton promo botch, Interview with Foley, and Questions on the WWE Title picture, the NJ crowd, and MITB

Main Event:
Pretty good opening tag match. I was expecting a squash or something. Everyone but Clay looked good in the ring. Clay didn't look bad, but everyone else looked better.

Awesome post-match. I'm really enjoying The Shield.

Not a bad Big E promo at all. Keep an eye on him.

Good match to show off what Big E can do. Yes, WWE's pushing another big guy who may or may not be sustainable. It's worth a shot.

Colter and Swagger are just pure mean, despicable heels. Deplorable remarks by Colter, but that's his character.

Nice match to rebuild Swagger after he was booted from the World Title picture. Thankfully they're not giving up on him.

Here are Impact taping dates and venues through August. I'm impressed that they've booked shows that far out.

The Rock tweeted about his WrestleMania injury. Very tough guy to keep going after that.

Hulk Hogan was involved in another ridiculous social media story: retweeting a link critical (in places) of his and Eric Bischoff's time in TNA that he mistakenly thought was posted on the TNA website. Once informed of his mistake, he deleted his tweets criticizing the link but not the link itself. So now it looks like he's endorsing the article criticizing his work.

Fandango's entrance song is selling well on iTunes. Sometimes things take on a life of their own.

John Cena and Daniel Bryan will be at the Wizard World Philly Comic Con in May. I can imagine that the people there will be more likely to be fans of Bryan than Cena.

Esquire.com had a look at WrestleMania. Thankfully the author changed his tone from his initial snobbery.

Here's another look at WrestleMania, from a production standpoint.

But seriously, that's all really impressive.

Here's another piece with some of the same quotes.

Randy Orton clearly forgot his line on Raw. It happens. I don't know if it was a case where they wanted him to use exact verbiage for something or what. Thankfully Sheamus didn't go "STUPID! STUPID!".

Mick and Dewey Foley (who is now 21!) talked about the infamous "Cane Dewey" sign and promo. TRACK THIS PROMO DOWN. It is absolutely worth watching. I'm glad they're cool with it all these years later. ECW certainly had some interesting fans/chants/signs.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. It seems obvious to me that they're building to a triple threat between Cena, Henry, and Ryback. That makes sense given the seeds they've planted so far.

2. I think they were cheering for change from the guys who usually get featured and showing some love for the unappreciated. Though they also seemed to be trying to get themselves over and seeing what kind of crazy chants they could do. It was crazy. And yes, they might have gotten a lot of attention, but Vince is laughing all the way to the bank.

3. As they said, the rule is for a year after it was first won. When the match was at Mania, a year would have been the next Mania. When the match was at MITB, he had a year from that date.

4. Attacking the vulnerable babyface champion isn't exactly what babyfaces do. If anything, he's a tweener.

5. Yes. However, they'll lose handily to every other crowd for making the show about themselves instead of about heels vs. faces.

More wrestling tomorrow, and a Blue Echo podcast coming up!
