TNA executive shake-up, WWE changes live events, Interviews with Rhodes/Jericho/Hart/Ziggler/Kofi/DDP, WWF star retiring, Cena-NXT update, big change for Steamboat, what happened after Raw, why Flair was at Raw, HHH update, Punk appearance, Raw audience, Smackdown dark match, and Questions on being a booker, Ryder, getting killed, WWE's timing, and Cena/Rock II

TNA's Live Events Coordinator, Craig Jenkins, is no longer a part of the company. He joins their PR members Chris Thomas and Jules Wortman in that distinction. No word on the "why" of these departures.

The New Age Outlaws have been added to the Smackdown live events coming up in Europe. Fandango is on the Smackdown tour, and Dolph Ziggler is on the Raw tour. So, Raw gets both the WWE and World Champions. Interesting.

Cody Rhodes was interviewed. Here are some highlights. I look at his remarks about Orton starting out so young and becoming so successful as a rebuttal to the silly arguments that Rhodes "will never be World Champion". It's always possible that he will be as long as he's wrestling. To think that you definitively "know" that someone won't be World Champion before they're even 30 is ludicrous. I like that he and Sandow have such a respect for the business.

Chris Jericho briefly talked about WWE in a piece primarily focused on his robot fighting show. The ending line was funny.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
Former WWF (pre-Attitude Era) star "Big Bully" Busick will be retiring this weekend. That cigar, hat, and mustache were pretty boss.

John Cena is headlining the 5/2 NXT taping. I really hope they do something cool with him. Champion vs. Champion with Big E?

Ricky Steamboat has been moved from training in NXT to WWE talent relations. Interesting. He seems like a nice enough guy.

Bret Hart was interviewed at an indie event. I'd also like to see more people give back, though I think Hulk Hogan is helping TNA in some ways. It's got to be really depressing and tiring talking about Owen and the Screwjob in EVERY. SINGLE. INTERVIEW. He's right about not having to get reactions via tables and chairs. That's a lost art in wrestling to some degree today.

After Raw, Team Hell No helped Cena even up the odds, leading to a 6-man tag with The Shield. Rollins used a chair for the DQ. Nothing too shocking.

Dolph Ziggler and Mike Chioda talked about the life of a WWE employee, which sounds incredibly grueling.

Kofi Kingston talked. I think Twitter wants everyone to turn heel.

DDP talked about his yoga and "Accountability Crib". And that's not a bad thing. That's a GOOD thing. Seriously, he's doing some really good things.

Here's a story about a documentary covering a wrestler's comeback from cancer. It's a touching story. The IWC would cheer for cancer in this situation.

Ric Flair was at Raw primarily to visit friends. I think we'll see him back on TV at some point.

Triple H underwent an MRI after it was believed that he had a scaphoid fracture in his wrist. I assume we'll see him at Extreme Rules, but the match isn't official yet.

C.M. Punk will do a signing, photo session, and Q&A, at the 6/28 Wizard World NYC Experience. Should be fun.

Raw's audience was 4.15 million, the lowest mark since the memorably bad shows at the end of December. Maybe the live audience had something to do with it? It's a shame that now that Mania's over, people are tuning back out.

The dark match for the Smackdown taping was Alicia Fox beating Aksana. Nothing monumental.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Working an indie is one idea. WWE generally looks for people with backgrounds in writing other forms of TV.

2.

"YOU'LL LIKE WHO I TELL YOU TO LIKE, DAMN IT!"

If Vince doesn't think someone should be on TV, generally they're not on TV whether they sell merchandise or not. He's set in his ways of who should be a star and who shouldn't.

3. Are there any weapons around? This is a WWE show; there's probably all kinds of crazy stuff in the hallways I could try to use to defend myself. I think Lesnar's quicker, so I'd take my chances trying to escape Henry.

4. WWE doesn't excel at the whole "planning things before the last minute" thing. That's really the best explanation I can come up with.

5. I liked it fine. If it was 2 ROH guys running through finishers, the IWC would have been calling it a MOTY contender.

More wrestling tomorrow, and a Blue Echo podcast coming up.
