Batista update, more on other WWE returns, more on Styles-TNA and Questions on Bryan's booking (again), Styles-TNA (again), turning Cena heel (again) and Roman Reigns

Any advertisements of Batista returning to WWE have been removed. Some people like to open their Christmas presents early...

In an update to a previous story, Sheamus is also advertised for the World of Wheels show on the weekend before the Royal Rumble. So, he could be coming back in the Royal Rumble along with Chris Jericho (and Batista? and Evan Bourne?).

AJ Styles continues to be booked on independent dates, spanning from next week to the end of April. He is still in negotiations with TNA about returning. I think a few months where TNA and Styles can get some breathing room before getting back to negotiations would be nice. I think it'd be nice if he came back right after Lockdown to set the stage for Slammiversary, but that's me.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I've seen people have the exact opposite view of Vince's booking, with babyfaces being on top for a long period of time (see: Hogan, Hulk). Vince might not have seen Bryan as a top guy until recently, but Bryan's been used near the top of the card since summer. I'd also like to see Bryan have a big win at the Rumble to stick it to the Authority. We've seen Bryan vs. Orton a lot now, so I'd go with Bryan vs. HHH (with HHH not believing Orton can get the job done, thus making himself champion going into Mania. Orton could then face a good friend of HHH's at the show: Batista).

Not much to add to 2. It's not like WWE or TNA are the only places to be successful in wrestling.

3. It would throw a monkey wrench at TNA, sure. But it wouldn't be nearly as bad as TNA being dropped by Spike, Panda Energy pulling out support from them,

4. They're definitely stubborn and refusing to accept facts. That's the very opposite of being a "smart" fan. I'd be surprised if a Cena heel turn worked out the way those fans say it would. It's not like the people booing him are going to spend the kind of money his supporters spend to be a part of the "CeNation". I don't see there being nearly the demand from places like Kmart to use him, either.

5. I can absolutely see Roman Reigns being a featured act. WWE has a number of talents who could do great things if the status quo was more willing to shake things up.

More wrestling tomorrow (hopefully).
