TNA reportedly signs ex-AAA star, ex-wrestlers appear, WWE Network update, Interviews with Natalya/JR/Hart/Stone Cold, possible new WWE ventures, Duggan update, WM31/WM32 updates, more WWE charity, more names set for Slammys, Angle appearance, popular comedian attacks TNA, Impact audience and Questions on TLC, taping Impact, 3MB vs. nWo, Vince pushing Bryan and scripted promos

In an update to a previous story, there are a number of reports coming from Mexico stating that TNA has signed the former Extreme Tiger. He competed at the most recent Impact tapings as Ultimate Tiger. I hope he does well there. They're doing some good things as far as freshening the roster.

Ted DiBiaise, Dr., The Godfather, Kelly Kelly and Maryse were at the Steel City Comic Con. That wound have been an interesting stable...

J.J. Dillon was part of  a "Toys for Tots II" event. Always good to see performers in the business doing things like that.

In response to information coming out from less-than-credible sources who might have jumped the gun, WWE.com sent out a statement about the WWE Network. We'll know the truth about plans for the network soon enough.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
Natalya talked about "Total Divas", her famous family and more. It's great that Natalya is working down in NXT with the next crop of Divas. I've heard good reviews of her recent match with current NXT Women's Champion Paige.

Ric Flair and Demolition's Ax and Smash will be a part of the Niagara Falls Comic-Con in June 2014. It feels like I'm talking about comic book conventions here a lot lately.

Jim Cornette and Jim Ross talked. The novelty of Jim Cornette wore off a long time ago with me.

WWE is seeking fan input on opening WWE-themed stores, much like Disney has. They're also looking into an animated film, a fitness DVD, and having charity dinners with talents. WWE's really growing into a powerhouse in the entertainment world, or at least they will be if the network is a hit.

Speaking of DVDs, WWE's working on a new "Before They Were Stars" DVD. Those were pretty cool.

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan has raised the funds necessary for his shoulder surgery. I hope that goes well for him.

Bret Hart talked about a number of things. Of course, Owen and Montreal came up. I'm glad he's at a better place about the latter. Also, props to him for putting over Antonio Cesaro. I think he's got a good thing going as well.

Here's part of a big interview with Stone Cold. The clock's ticking on if he's ever going to get back in the ring. He'll be 49 soon.

WWE is expected to announce the locations of the next two WrestleManias in the next couple of weeks. Yeah, sure. Why not?

Stephanie McMahon was part of a March of Dimes event in New York City, as WWE had raised $1 million for the cause.

The New Age Outlaws will be a part of the Slammy Awards broadcast. I'd like to see them face Punk and Bryan on the show, given their connection with HHH.

Kurt Angle will be on Indian children's TV show during his promotional tour. That's pretty cool. I hope TNA gains a foothold there.

Comedian Jim Norton took a lot of shots at TNA on Twitter and the Opie & Anthony Show. Apparently his gimmick is cursing a lot and being super-edgy. How original!

Impact's audience this past week was 1.42 million. Not bad at all! Nice rebound from the previous week. I hope their momentum continues.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. It's always possible, but I don't think they'd want to go in that direction. Theoretically that would mean guys like Curtis Axel would be competing for the top prize IN THIS BUSINESS. Seems a little farfetched. I think they'll keep the focus on the top names.

2. It does seem a little odd at first glance, but makes sense financially. I'd think a lot of people attending the show are either on top of spoilers or able to DVR/find out what happened through somewhere else, etc. It is 2013, after all.

3. If WWE could clear the nWo to compete and would be able to keep an eye on them backstage, that could be kind of cool from an angle perspective. I got a big kick out of Slater challenging legends. I think WWE would be pretty crazy to not announce (or at least tease) the nWo being at WrestleMania beforehand, but it's a better idea than some I've heard.

4. The "WWE is out to bury Bryan" charade keeps falling apart. Hopefully people are catching on to it a little more now. If WWE booked Cena the way they've booked Bryan these past few months, people would be complaining about how he never puts anyone over clean.

5. WWE sees their shows as being like other TV shows (instead of a sport or what have you), so I can't say the move is too surprising. Hopefully this philosophy changes under the Haitch Era. I'm sure some talents would do better being scripted, but I'd like to see what others could so with fewer restrictions.

More wrestling tomorrow.
