More names at WWEPC, TLC notes, Styles' TNA status, Interviews with Angle/Blue Meanie, Smackdown audience, twerking (seriously) and Questions on Hogan's mobility, pushing Bryan (AGAIN), WWE Creative problems and Styles in WWE

Canadian independent wrestler Mentallo also worked at WWE's Performance Center. He's got a great amount of experience at only 34, which could be quite valuable in the current WWE landscape.

Robert Anthony of Resistance Pro also worked there. He was once under a WWE developmental deal. Don't expect a lot of signings coming out of the tryout camp.

John Cena is reportedly uninjured after TLC, which is good.

There wasn't anything additional after TLC. Did there need to be?

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

AJ Styles has officially parted ways with TNA. He had literally been with the company since their first show in 2002. TNA wrapped up his storyline at the most recent Impact tapings, so he'll still be appearing on their shows for another month. There has yet to be any word of Styles going to WWE, but he has a number of independent dates booked for the next few months. I'd be interested in seeing Styles in WWE, but I don't think it'd be a huge loss if they don't pick him up. TNA can survive without Styles, too. It's just going to take some readjustment and getting behind the new generation of stars.

Update: Styles commented on leaving TNA. It seems like it's best for both sides to have moved on.

Kurt Angle met with an Indian gold medalist. That had to have been an interesting meeting. TNA's lucky to have Angle, but he can't keep going at the level he's going forever. Some performers have definitely gone off-script during a match. Ask Perry Saturn or Hardcore Holly.

Blue Meanie was the latest guest on Pro Wrestling 101. Some good advice there, as is generally the case on that show. Christ, ECW was a long time ago.

Smackdown's audience on Friday was 2.69 million viewers, a sizable drop from the previous week. Not the greatest sign going into such a big PPV main event.

TMZ.com covered a "twerk-off" between Brooke Tessmacher and Robbie E. This is wrestling news in 2013.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Hogan needing to be assisted to do something worthwhile in wrestling? Get out of town! If he does get physical at WM30, it needs to be the last time. It'll probably take most of the show for him to make it to the ring. Maybe they can get him one of those mini-rings they used for Andre.

2. Good for Cena. Though the extent of Bryan being downplayed has been overstated, that was a nice boost for him.

3. Jesus. Bryan's been in big PPV matches for months, including four straight PPVs in the main event. He didn't lose clean (unassisted) in any of those WWE Title matches, and in fact beat Cena and Orton clean for the gold. He was taken down the card after HIAC, but to say they're not doing anything about his popularity is delusional. They know he's over, and teased him getting back in the title picture ahead of TLC. I feel like we're in for a repeat of Punk's situation where even if Bryan holds the title for a year, there'll be complaints of how he's booked and how WWE isn't behind him.

4. I think Vince has way too much on his plate with so many responsibilities, and that leads to problems in the creative process. It's a vicious cycle: they book people to be unimportant, then have a bunch of people who aren't seen as main eventers.

5. The punctuation and capitalization here is killing me. Yes, Styles can make a name and money for himself outside of TNA and WWE. It just likely won't be as big as it would be if he was in either company. It would definitely screw with TNA to put Styles on WWE TV within the next month, but I don't see it happening. Considering a large part of WWE's audience doesn't watch (or care about?) TNA, it'd be dumb to screw with them just to screw with them.

More wrestling tomorrow.
