Batista fan incident, Taker vs. Brock continues, Cena confirms injury, NXT stars work live event and Questions on getting stories wrong, WWF vs. WWF, the Network, TNA's HoF and TNA paying for WWE footage

Batista reportedly got into a physical altercation with a radio host who was ringside for a live event in Winnipeg. The host in question had an argument with Batista, leading to him striking Batista and Batista shoving him down. Security spoke to the host, but allowed him to remain. Batista later threw the middle finger to the fan, leading to the fan attempting to jump the rail. He was then walked out by security. There's speculation of this being some sort of publicity stunt since the radio station sponsored the show, but nothing's known for sure at this point. If it's not a work, Batista better be in some serious hot water for that. He's not exactly making friends with his coworkers or Management with some of the things he's said and done these past few months.

The Undertaker is advertised for Raw. His match with Brock certainly has a big fight, WrestleMania feel. It will be tough to top next year. Maybe we get Taker vs. Batista then?

John Cena confirmed being hurt vs. the Wyatts. Glad he didn't try to tough through the injury.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

NXT Tag Team Champions The Ascension defeated Los Matadores at a WWE live event in Madison Square Garden. The Ascension vs. The Usos would be interesting, but I don't know if it's QUITE time for that to be a thing.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. There probably aren't enough hours in the day to go around correcting every single false report out there. Always be weary of what's reported on secondary sites. Even the top names get things wrong at times.

2. It's basically a case where they can't PROMOTE as the WWF, but since the company was called the WWF at the time, they're able to refer to it as such. It caused quite the headache to have to edit out all those WWF mentions and logos!

3. It's in NBCU's favor to have their airings of WWE shows to be the most easily available and recent. If someone can get Raw and Smackdown within a few days for cheaper than a cable/satellite subscription, NBCU loses customers.

4. The Jarrett family as a whole (including Jerry and Jill) should have probably been first. AJ Styles is also a good choice. I don't see either going in any time soon. While JB, Bob Carter, Mike Tenay and others deserve it, I wouldn't be shocked at all if it was Jeff Hardy to follow the trend of people better known for their work elsewhere.

5. I don't see TNA willing to shell out that kind of money for Daniels, but I suppose it's possible. WWE isn't generally known for helping out other wrestling companies unless it really benefits them in some way.

More wrestling tomorrow.
