WWE Network drops content, NXT guest, Interviews with Kazarian/Aries/X-Pac/MVP/Fandango/Cabana, Angle to miss Lockdown, WWE TV update, Conan plays WWE 2K14 and Questions on the HoF, Big Show, Network edits, hijacking Raw and Elimination Chamber vs. Lockdown

WWE has removed some ECW and Legends of Wrestling content from the Network's VOD sections. Hopefully they will eventually have most content available for VOD once they get all the bugs sorted out.

Rob Gronkowski of the New England Patriots was at a recent NXT TV taping. He's a friend of Mojo Rawley. What I've seen so far of the product has been pretty good.

Kazarian talked about the new talent involved in TNA, working in Japan and more. I'd also like to see some more new, talented faces in TNA. I'm not sure if I want to see some of those specific names return unless they bring something new to the table. There are more than enough X-Division style wrestlers in the world already. At any rate, I think Bad Influence has probably been the most enjoyable run of either man's career. There's no reason to think of breaking them up anytime soon.

Everything else from Friday is after the break.

Austin Aries also talked about the changes in TNA's roster. For anyone who hasn't watched TNA in a while, they're definitely improving things. It's not night and day, but progress is certainly noticeable as far as new names being put into the mix.

Kurt Angle will not be part of Lockdown as he has not been cleared to return to the ring. I can't say I'm too surprised. I think it would be wise for him to start thinking of life after being an in-ring competitor. He's given a LOT to the industry and his body's telling him it's about time to cap things off. His contract expires at some point this summer and it's probably best for both him and TNA to have a backup plan if he can't keep wrestling there.

X-Pac talked about the passing of Big Daddy V, NXT and more. It's good to see X-Pac involved with developmental.

MVP talked about how he became a part of TNA. I think he's got some fair criticisms and made the right choice in going to TNA.

Fandango talked about the Fandangoing fad ahead of WWE's UK tour in May. I hope he has a good run as the character, as it's definitely fizzled since WM29.

WWE gave an update on its next TV deal. A lot of people are keeping their eyes on this situation. TNA currently airs on Viacom's channel and their deal is up in October. There's a real possibility WWE swoops in and they have to find somewhere else to air Impact. How much of a possibility that is is currently unknown, but it's something to note.

Conan O'Brien featured WWE 2K14 on "Clueless Gamer". There's some funny stuff in there.

Colt Cabana talked about the C.M. Punk situation and more. Thumbs up from me for hitting Michael Cera in the groin.

For my take on Friday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. WWE tends to stick with names more people know of and who had a more national presence.

2. Unfortunately he's now back on TV.

3. I definitely see why they changed some of the music and the like they didn't have legal rights to, and it likely was very difficult to have unedited versions of a lot of old footage they'd already edited when making it digital (eliminating the need for the physical copies of the discs the footage was on).

4. Pretty much that! It's the verbiage used for when fans take over the show with chants and the like.

5. I do think the Chamber has more life in it as a concept than cage matches. The Chamber has been watered down some, but at least it's only available one night a year. Cage matches aren't protected enough for a whole PPV of them to seem all that special, hence all the added gimmicks. It waters down the cage match even more when some of the feuds are nowhere near special enough to warrant going to a gimmick match.

More wrestling coming up.
