LOTS of Mania stuff, Interviews with Foley/Hall, Daniels-TNA update, JR has special guests, report from AXXESS, Impact audience, see the WM30 set and Questions on Colon/Cornette/ECW in the Hall, Lawler wrestling and travel schedules

Mick Foley did a Q&A about Mania and more. He has the right philosophy about being scarce with certain things.

Update: Here's another Foley interview. Foley did face Rocky Balboa in TNA after all. And you think TNA's ridiculous and bad NOW.

Sanada will defend the X-Division Championship against Daniels in Wrestle-1 on April 17. This could be Daniels' final appearance for TNA, as there's been no word on him signing a new contract. If he is leaving, him putting over Sanada is a nice use of him.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin joined Jim Ross on stage at his recent one-man show. I'm sure that was entertaining!

Update: Jim Cornette was at a previous Jim Ross show. I bet that got pretty heated. Corny's a passionate guy.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
Here are some notes from AXXESS. I've got to make it to one of those someday...

WrestleMania interviews:
Flair, JR and Bryan - I can't blame Flair for wanting to get back in the ring post-WM24. It's obviously in his blood. I look forward to new performers getting opportunities as Bryan wants.

Big E - another choice to win the Andre battle royal. A big slam would be awesome.

Bryan talked about the Yes! chant catching on.

Stone Cold talked about not working Hogan or Punk at Mania. I also think it's great for Austin to show off his sense of humor. He can be an entertaining cat.

Roddy Piper talked about not wrestling this year. Piper hitting a zombie with a coconut just sold me on that one. I love Piper's attitude. Never a dull moment with him.

Another one with Bryan - I wouldn't really say having to win two matches in one night (with the second being a triple threat match with two fresh competitors) is "fair". That's kind of the whole point of the angle. How could they leave out what Foley did after Royal Rumble? Bryan made for an excellent heel after winning the World Title. Dear God. Bryan actually did get shots at the title after being stripped of it. Hell in a Cell, anyone?

Batista - Half the time people who cover wrestling feel like they have to point out it's predetermined. Like they'll look like idiots if they don't mention something everyone knows. I feel Batista's concern about the hijackers. I'm not sure I agree about Meltzer being the most respected reporter of the industry in 2014. There's a reason I refer to PWInsider more than him.

Hogan and Cena - I can only imagine what some stars go through with autographs and such. WWE does have some talented performers who could make big impacts at Mania.

Impact's audience from Thursday was 1.12 million. That's disappointing for a show with a four-way World Title match, a tables match, a gimmick match between Anderson and Shaw and the Beautiful People competing as a team for the first time in three years.

Scott Hall talked about going into the WWE Hall of Fame and more. I'm still rather surprised he's going in before Kevin Nash, but Nash is a lock for a later date.

Here's a look at the WrestleMania 30 set. It looks amazing!

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Benoit was a very high-profile situation where he was definitely in the wrong. Colon's situation... not as much.

2. NOT AS LONG AS THAT $*%&IN' BUCKY BUCKTOOTH BEAVER KEVIN DUNN WORKS FOR THE WWE. THAT STUPID $%*&ER AND HIS STUPID #$&%IN' SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT BULL#&$*. $&%# KEVIN DUNN, #*%@ THE #*$@IN' HALL OF FAME, AND $*#& THE PERSON WHO SENT IN THIS @#$%IN' QUESTION. (I think he could go in someday, but there will have to be some serious hatchet-burying first).

3. WWE does NOT want to risk another big health scare. I think contractually he might be able to work independents, but I imagine WWE's pretty careful about it.

4. Almost certainly Heyman. The other names are great, too. RVD, Raven and Shane Douglas should also go in, but I don't see that last one happening.

5. It's easiest that way. They want to make travel as easy as possible and such.

More wrestling tomorrow.
