Impact and NXT lineups, Roberts health update, first two WWE PPVs of 2015 set, new podcast coming, GFW strikes working deal with AAA, A-lister back on Raw, Interview with Piper, Very sad Bryan note, Smackdown audience and Questions on Sting vs. HBK, crowd hijacking, WWE souvenirs and Sting in GFW

Set for Thursday's Impact Wrestling:
- MVP vs. Austin Aries
- Beer Money vs. Bully Ray and Gunner
- Bobby Lashley vs. Kenny King
- Kurt Angle vs. Rockstar Spud
- Beautiful People vs. Madison Rayne and Gail Kim

I still don't know who the babyfaces are in the Knockouts feud. But you know... Russo. Those two first matches should be amazing.

Jake Roberts got good news about his cancer or lack thereof. That's great, Jake! Keep it going.

There will indeed be an Ultimate Warrior tribute on "The Goldbergs". Pretty cool.

Set for Thursday's NXT:
- The Usos and Sami Zayn vs. The Ascension and Corey Graves
- Paige and Emma vs. Charlotte and Sasha Banks
- Alexander Rusev vs. Travis Tyler
- Tyson Kidd vs. Mason Ryan
- Tyler Breeze vs. Angelo Dawkins

I think Charlotte and Sasha need to beat the main roster Divas. There's going to need to be some rebuilding there with Paige and Emma going to the main roster.

The 2015 Royal Rumble is planned for 1/25 in Philly. Elimination Chamber is set for 2/22 in Memphis. They really plan ahead, don't they?

Taz will be making his own podcast soon. I wonder if it will rustle as many jimmies as Piper's has.

Jeff Jarrett has announced a working relationship between GFW and Mexico's AAA. This sounds like it could be pretty big when it hits. The Jarretts have been working AAA for quite a while.

Hugh Jackman will be back on Raw next week. That could be pretty cool. I'm guessing he takes out Damien Sandow for debasing comic books or something.

"Rowdy" Roddy Piper covered his going to WWF and more in the latest Kayfabe Commentaries release. That got really uncomfortable at the end. I don't even know what to say. Oh my God.

Daniel Bryan's father passed away before Raw. I can only imagine what he's going through. My heart's with the WWE Champ right now.

Smackdown rose slightly to 2.76 million this week. That's pretty cool.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. You'd think HBK would be able to pull out a better match with Sting than Taker, but I really don't see it happening. Nor do I think it would work as well from a box office standpoint than a dream match a long time in the making. I do wonder if it's worth WWE having to explain who Sting is and trotting out two guys of that age to have a match, but from a name value standpoint, Sting vs. Taker is a big deal. They'd need some serious bells and whistles, but I think it could work.

2. This started a LONG time before the Rumble. Pittsburgh didn't start the fire; it had been building for months if not years once you consider how many Manias have featured part-timers in major roles edging out hardworking full-timers. But the Rumble definitely really changed things for WWE's current direction. That's very clear. I hope things continue to change for the company.

3. WWE has all kinds of cool stuff in storage. Hopefully that is there.

4. NOPE. Bad. If there is a Taker/Brock rematch, it needs to be on a bigger stage than Extreme Rules. We don't even know if Taker's coming back at this point. As for Sting coming in with Paul Heyman, I don't see how that makes sense at all. If anything, Sting should be saving Taker and they'd have something of a slow burn or something. Sting is a vicious heel doesn't really work. He should be out to show his worth in a WWE ring against Taker as a curtain call for his career.

5. He'll make tons more money in WWE and have a higher profile to boot. He'd probably rather do one big match than go through all the trouble of trying to get GFW on the map. That's a pretty labor-intensive process.

More wrestling tomorrow.
