Ultimate Warrior passes away at 54

Read on for the fallout from Warrior's passing.
I feel like anything I say on the matter would be pretty redundant with what's already been said. This came as a big and unfortunate shock to everyone after him finally reconciling with the company after all these years. Warrior was not a perfect human being, but he was an inspiration to many and definitely made a mark on the wrestling world. It's a real shame the relationship between WWE and Warrior didn't get to further blossom. Rest in peace, Warrior.

WWE sent out the following about Warrior's death.

TMZ covered his passing. Nash and Warrior had some heat a few years ago, so I'm really glad they buried the hatchet. There's a real lesson to be learned here.

Update: TMZ further elaborated on the circumstances of his death. I'm glad it wasn't drug- or alcohol-related.

Update: TMZ looked at reports of his health from the time before his passing.

WWE had filmed footage of Warrior and his family for a project of some sort. I hope we still get to see some of that.

WWE ran Warrior-related material on the Network, including WrestleMania 6. That was cool of them.

Some remembrances of Warrior:
Dave Scherer of PWInsider.com

Many wrestling personalities

Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com - This one was particularly touching and insightful. My opinion of HHH the businessman continues to grow.

Hulk Hogan, who included a picture of himself, Warrior and Pat Patterson backstage. Some serious feels there. That's really cool.

One of the creators of Jakks' WWE Classic line of action figures. Great to hear how much of a family man Warrior was.

A college classmate of Warrior. Warrior was definitely very determined. Some would say to a fault.

Jim Ross

Bret Hart

Triple H on ESPN - another great look at the person underneath the face paint.

More wrestling coming up.
