Main Event Reax - 4/29/14, what happened after Raw, another provider drops WWE PPVs, praise for Jackman, update on Total Diva, WWE Network reaches new platform, Interview with AJ Styles, Raw audience, WWE PPV locations through WM31, Impact lineup and Questions on WWE's best talker, commentary, GFW, WWE's booking and Cena as the top guy

Main Event:
Wow! I definitely didn't see Goldust beating Del Rio. As much as I like Goldust, that feels like a step down for the former WWE/World Champion. Good match, but the ending took me by surprise.

Ooooohhhhh.... intriguing stuff between Cody and Goldust. I definitely see the matches with Del Rio as primarily being tools to get these two to feud instead of Management having it out for Cody or something. I think this feud could be pretty good if everyone is on their A game.

Interesting twist thrown into Smackdown's title match. I think we could definitely see a title change.

Good stuff between Paige and Alicia; the Divas' Champion looks a little more natural in the ring with every match.

Good to have a little bit of tension between Paige and Tamina before their match on Sunday.

Ehhhh.... Sheamus continues to be uninspiring in his promos. It could just be because he's not being pushed now, but he doesn't feel like a top act at the moment.

Way to bury Big E there. It'd be different if E got to show Barrett wrong, but they just kind of leave it hanging that he's supposedly bland and boring.

That match felt like they were cramming a lot of spots into a short amount of time, but Kofi and Barrett both looked good.

Cool pre-match with Bray.

Sheamus and Wyatt really tore it up there. Wyatt's really making strides as a future headliner. Bryan vs. Wyatt at Summerslam for the title would be great. Sheamus deserves credit for his hard work here, too.

Good post-match to presumably set up a tag team title feud.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
After Raw, John Cena beat Bray Wyatt by DQ when the other members of the family interfered. Cena rebounded to end the taping on a high note. I hope Bray gets elevated in a big way at Extreme Rules.

AT&T U-verse will not be carrying Extreme Rules. Those who don't have the WWE Network should get on it!

Hugh Jackman was said to be very personable at Raw, going out of his way to talk to people. Great guy. I wish him the best.

JoJo of "Total Divas" remains employed by WWE, working in the Performance Center. I wouldn't assume we've seen the last of her.

WWE Network has now launched on Xbox One. Awesome!

AJ Styles took some shots at TNA in a recent interview, noting there being better attendance at some of his indy appearances than at TNA live events. I defend TNA a lot of times, but their attendance at live events has not been strong at all in many cases. It's really something that needs to be addressed.

Raw's audience on Monday was 4.61 million, a BIG jump from the previous week. That's great! I think the shows have mostly been pretty strong lately, so I hope great things keep happening for the company.

Here are dates and locations for all WWE's PPVs through WrestleMania 31. I'm glad WWE's not trying to do 14 PPVs in a year anymore. I think that hurt the importance of the shows and made them seem more like blatant cash grabs.

Set for the next edition of Impact Wrestling:
- Eric Young defends the TNA World Championship
- Willow vs. James Storm
- all sorts of fallout from Sacrifice.

Could be a pretty good show. Sacrifice as a whole was pretty good, I thought. TNA's still in a rebuilding stage with all the departures, I think.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Both guys are definitely among my favorites right now! Heyman's one of my all-time favorite talkers, for sure. I'm also a big fan of Bray Wyatt's gimmick.

2. I think different styles work for different commentators. It's no secret WWE commentary's not the greatest these days. I do miss JR in his prime as a lot of fans do.

3. I think Jarrett knows what he's doing. He doesn't need to steal any fans away. There's plenty of room for someone to be a fan of more than one wrestling promotion at a time if there are options presented that give something worth checking out. It feels like Jarrett's got something different up his sleeve from what WWE and TNA present. If he gets a national TV deal, I think he can build up an audience.

4. Wrestling, like any form of entertainment, is primarily built on good guys vs. bad guys. There's room for gray areas and shaking things up, but in general it makes sense to do the basic good guy vs. bad guy trope.

5. Just like there was no way they'd end Undertaker's streak? It definitely looks like WWE's making progress in having new top guys in the mix with Cena. It's not going to happen overnight and we're still going to see some of the same old names up there, but WWE is indeed building other names.

More wrestling tomorrow.
