Interviews with Bad Influence/Bryan, greatest wrestler from each U.S. state, Merriman-WWE update, more Warrior fallout, where's Joe?, Knockout hurt, WWE wants reactions to Taker's streak, Impact audience and Questions on TNA in NYC, Taker's streak and the Poffos in the HoF

Bad Influence was interviewed. Of note, they worked a recent One Night Only PPV taping. So they're not gone from TNA just yet as some speculate will soon happen.

This piece compares a current Memphis NBA player with Memphis' wrestling history. Pretty cool.

Mandatory.com looked at the greatest wrestler from each U.S. state. Wyoming shouldn't fret; Bischoff is a former WCW Hardcore Champion!

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Former NFL star Shawne Merriman has been officially signed to WWE. I wish him the best. I think it's foolish to write him off just because he didn't spend ten years on the indies.

Update: TMZ has more details.

Daniel Bryan talked about WrestleMania, the WWE Network and more. Nothing really earth-shattering.

TNA put out a press release about Eric Young winning their World Championship. I'm all for TNA pushing homegrown talent but this felt like they were desperate to make some noise during Mania season.

Bret Hart tweeted about his final meetings with Ultimate Warrior.

Samoa Joe has been granted time off from TNA due to a personal situation. It's unknown how long he'll be out. I wish him the best.

Angelina Love had a minor concussion from WrestleMania weekend, so she could miss some ring time as well.

The New York Times covered Warrior's passing.

The mascot of the Florida Panthers paid tribute to Warrior, which is pretty awesome.

WWE will pay tribute to Warrior on Raw. Very classy of them.

WWE asked fans for feedback on the end of The Undertaker's streak. It's not like they can go back in time and change it. I think I would have been cool with Reigns winning it, but that'd be a HUGE amount of pressure on him to deliver.

TNA's audience on Thursday was 1.42 million. That's a jump of nearly 300,000 from the previous week. As much as I'm personally a bit perplexed with Young becoming champion, that's a good sign for the first night of his title reign. Can TNA keep up the momentum?

For my take on Friday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. TNA's attendance hasn't exactly been stellar lately. What does it say if they can't even fill the Grand Ballroom?

2. They did a great job pulling the wool over everyone's eyes with that one. I'm still pretty surprised a week later.

Nothing to add to 3.

4. I hope so! Honestly Savage deserves his own induction, but Lanny and Angelo can go in as a group, too.

Nothing to add to 5.

More wrestling coming up.
