More Warrior fallout, more on Merriman signing, Interviews with Heyman/Eric Young, former TNA Champion signs new deal, Vickie update and Questions on Nancy Grace, Taker vs. Brock, TNA in NYC and the HoF

WWE is assisting the family of Ultimate Warrior after his passing. Very classy on their part.

MLB player Garrett Jones will be using Warrior's theme for the remainder of the season. That's pretty cool.

Here's another story on the WWE signing of Shawne Merriman. I hope this works out well for both parties.

Paul Heyman was interviewed about his client BRRRRRRRROOOOOCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKK
LLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSNNNNNNNNNNNNAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRR
beating The Undertaker at WrestleMania.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Eric Young was interviewed about his goals as the new TNA Champion and more. I'll be rather surprised if he's still champion after Slammiversary.

James Storm has signed a multi-year deal with TNA. That's really good news for TNA after the high-profile departures of the last year.

Update: More stars are expected to be announcing extensions with the company shortly. Bad Influence and Kurt Angle are the next names people are looking at as potentially leaving, and another long-time TNA name is expected to be finishing up or has already finished up.

Vickie Guerrero is disputing talk of her leaving WWE. Time will tell if she's on her way out or not.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I'm not actually familiar with that rumor. But theoretically it can't be any less true than some of the gross factual errors Grace has committed in her reporting (though that's not saying much).

2. The ref would need to know if he was taking a bump or doing some kind of complex finish, but he didn't need to know to count to three when someone's getting pinned. He presumably expected Taker to kick out before he hit the mat the third time. It does seem risky, though, in case the ref thought that wasn't going to be the finish and gave an awkwardly long count or didn't call for the bell.

3. There's some sick pleasure in wanting to see TNA get royally buried by the NYC crowd. I'm actually kind of looking forward to it.

4. Punk inducting him would have been really cool. And they'd HAVE to put him in at some point. They might have done so the year after his passing like they did with Paul Bearer.

5. That would work for me, but I don't know if Lanny would be willing to go that route. Savage had the stipulation that he didn't want to go in unless Lanny and his father Angelo also went in. Lanny's been pretty adamant in not wanting to go back on what Savage wanted.

More wrestling tomorrow.
