HHH remembers a friend, Cena on being replaced by Reigns, TNA visitor, Pop on new platforms, TNA tryouts, WWE announces first HoFer for 2016, NXT stars at Raw, big tours for NXT this weekend, NXT names to EVOLVE, a new ROH PPV, and matches set for Smackdown

Triple H spoke at the memorial for Motörhead's frontman. HHH and Lemmy really go back a way. I think it'd be completely appropriate to induct Lemmy into the celebrity wing of the HoF in Dallas.
John Cena endorsed Roman Reigns on Twitter ahead of the WWE Champion replacing John on an upcoming Indian tour. WWE is definitely committed to establishing Reigns as a top guy.

John Cena put over Roman Reigns on Twitter for the WWE Champion replacing Cena on WWE's upcoming Indian tour. WWE is definitely investing in Roman as becoming a star at Cena's level, which will be easier said than done.

WCW name Crowbar was visiting at a recent TNA taping. I wonder if he'll ever make a cameo there at a One Night Only show or something.

Pop will launch on Cablevision later this month, and will be part of AT&T U-Verse starting in March. That's good news for TNA potentially expanding their audience.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
CZW's David Starr and indie name Shynron got tryouts at last week's Impact Wrestling tapings. Both were received very well, so they could become regulars at some point in the future.

WWE officially announced Sting going into the Hall of Fame. I can't think of anyone more important to go in in Sting's home state (since Taker might not be winding things down just yet).

Sting commented on going into the WWE HoF. He's earned it after all these years!

American Alpha (NXT's Chad Gable and Jason Jordan) were backstage at Raw. They're really good.

NXT is running two tours this weekend. One set of talent will work Chicago, Green Bay, and Milwaukee, while the other set will work the smaller shows in Florida. It's good some people will get some experience on a bigger stage. I expect we'll see some talents work Florida we don't normally see. It will be a good barometer of where they are and what they need to work on.

William Regal will be at the Jan. 23 EVOLVE event "with a purpose," presumably to scout future NXT talents. That's pretty big! EVOLVE is becoming a hub for potential future WWE stars. Of course, that doesn't mean WWE isn't scouting in other places.

Update: Chad Gable and Jason Jordan will also be appearing there for an autograph signing. That might be why they were backstage at Raw. I really hope we see American Alpha led by Zeb Colter in 2016. Not that they're not great personalities on their own, but I think Zeb could take them to a higher level.

ROH's Global Wars on May 8 will air live on PPV. This is part of the annual tour of NJPW names coming into ROH. It will be interesting to see who from NJPW will be pushed if/when certain names  end up leaving.

Announced for Smackdown:
- Ambrose/Neville vs. Sheamus/Owens
- Kalisto defends the U.S. Title against Del Rio
- Dudleys vs. Wyatts in a tables match

Should be a great show! I'm glad they're announcing things ahead of time.

More wrestling tomorrow.
