ROH+WWE live event notes, GFW holding tryouts, Angle's last TNA match set, what's set for Raw, UK talents booked for TNA tour, and Questions on Reigns vs. HHH, 2016's big feud, this year's Rumble, a Divas MITB, and an NXT name in the Rumble

At a recent ROH live event in Illinois:
- Keith Lee and Shane Taylor defeated Alpha Class (Danny Adams & Paco Gonzalez). Lee and Taylor have worked a number of dark matches and live events for ROH since May 2015, so they could be on the road to a more regular role there. Taylor also had a few dark singles matches for them before that. As for Danny and Paco, they've also worked a number of dark matches and live events in ROH during the past year, both as singles names and as a team. Keep an eye on these four names as potential ROH performers going forward.

- Kevin Lee Davidson lost to Will Ferrara. I don't see any additional info on Davidson.

- ROH booker Delirious lost to Dalton Castle.

Nothing incredibly newsworthy coming out of NXT's second Chicago show, other than it being warmer than the afternoon show.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

A few notes from one of WWE's domestic live events this weekend:
- Tommy Dreamer teamed with the Dudleys in a tables match loss to Rowan, Harper, and Strowman. I'm not sure how many more live events he's booked for, but I do think he's scheduled for some next weekend.

- Los Matadores teamed with The Ascension to lose to the Social Outcasts. No El Torito. I still kind of want to see LM as heel henchmen for someone like Del Rio, presumably with a new look. But I don't see that happening while LoN is a thing. They probably want things to be four-on-four vs. the Wyatts. That's hopefully a feud coming up...

- Natalya saved Becky Lynch from a beatdown by Naomi and Tamina after Becky beat Tamina. She didn't wrestle, though, so she might still be hurt.

GFW is holding a training seminar with tryouts in Pennsylvania on Sunday ahead of the Royal Rumble. Jeff Jarrett and Christina Von Eerie will be on-hand. I hope they find some suitable workers.

Kurt Angle's final opponent in TNA will be Lashley. It's unknown if this will be part of Lockdown or not. It should definitely be worth checking out, though. Lashley's incredible, and a good match for the departing gold medalist.

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman will be on the Highlight Reel on Raw tonight. Also, Charlotte answers Becky Lynch's challenge for the Rumble.

Dixie Carter announced Will Osprey, Big Damo, and Jimmy Havoc will all be on TNA's UK tour after fan voting. I wouldn't be surprised if all three were already booked prior to the vote. I hope they each impress. I imagine TNA would like some more UK regulars on their roster.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:

1. Reigns is going for revenge against someone who has tried to screw him over either directly or indirectly (through Rollins, Big Show, and Corporate Kane) for quite some time now. Heck, The Shield and Evolution had some wars before that, so there's plenty of history and bad blood. Plus, HHH is an all-time great. There's holding the WWE Title for a few months, but beating a future HoFer who can still go (the man who beat Sting last year) in front of possibly 100,000 fans is an even bigger accomplishment.

2. The Old Guard vs. The people who want to do new things with new performers. Will Raw continue to feature names from 10+ years ago, or will things progress to a new era? The big battle will be Monday night viewers vs. their remotes.

3. I like it. It shakes things up with a new stipulation. It will be interesting to see what curveballs this leads to for Mania season.

4.  I don't really anticipate a ladder match with that many female competitors happening. We could see a one-on-one ladder match if people like HHH and Steph really push for that vision of women's wrestling, but even that's a maybe for the time being while Total Divas is a thing and shapes how the division is presented.

5. AJ Styles, if he's cleared. Otherwise, I'd like to see Joe get that honor. I don't think Corbin's ready for that big of a push, and they should save Sami and Balor for when it would mean more to see them. This Rumble's about Roman.

More wrestling tomorrow.
