WWE live event notes, WWE Future Endeavored Class of 2015 remembered, old ROH name coming back, teaser for TNA debut, and Questions on Damien Sandow, Cena fans, Owens in LoN, CZW, and the Big Bad Booty Daddy

At a recent WWE live event, the team of Sandow/Axel/Fandango/Truth/Lucha Booties beat New Day/Los Matadores/Slater. Sin Cara was kept out of the ring due to his shoulder issues. No word on when he'll be back in the ring again. It's also worth noting El Torito wasn't with Los Matadores, presumably because they're working as heels now. Torito hasn't really done much in months. They should pair him with Slater or someone else who's not doing anything. Torito could be part of the act of the ONE MAN BAAAAAAAAAND like Kid Rock used to have.

On the other set of live event, the Hype Bros teamed with Titus O'Neil to beat Cosmic Wasteland. Darren Young was not in action, despite working a dark match at Smackdown and as part of Superstars. There might not be anything to this, but it's certainly interesting PTP aren't working as a duo lately. It seems pretty apparent WWE wants to use Titus more than Darren, but they already split the team once and it didn't really work out like they wanted it to.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Here's a look back at the people who left WWE in 2015:
- I don't think they're really missing much with Gabriel gone. They've got Neville and the Lucha Dragons, after all. I liked Gabriel, but I think once Sami Zayn comes up, he'll be a distant memory.

- Booyaka booyaka. Honestly, with all the injuries Rey's had, it was the right decision to let his contract expire.

- They really missed the boat screwing over AJ. Great talent who could have been (even more) the big name of her generation.

- I never saw enough of Parker to say he was destined for big things. Maybe we'll see him again down the line and I'll be able to get a better grasp of his talents.

- Hulk screwed the Hulkster, brother. No complaints there.

- Layla was a solid talent who probably could have been a great talent without injuries and the like. I think she did some pretty good stuff, but didn't quite break out post-LayCool like a lot of us hoped.

- I like Billy Gunn, but they did what they had to do there.

- Solomon Crowe just didn't catch on. Talented guy, but couldn't find his groove in NXT.

- Brad Maddox was a good talker. I wish we got to see more of him as a character. He should turn "Cocky Prick" into his official gimmick, call his fans the Prick Pack, etc..

Good video as always.

Masada is coming back to ROH to face Roderick Strong for the TV Title. He hasn't worked there since July 2004. Whoa.

TNA released a teaser for... something. Naturally people are saying it's a miracle they're still on the air. The best speculation I've seen is Michael Bennett (possibly with Maria), based on a previous previous gimmick name. That would certainly make sense. That'd be a good time to debut the pair.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. They held off on Miz vs. Sandow too long before they pulled the trigger. When he finally did turn on Miz at Mania, it was only to be eliminated by Big Show. I guess they didn't want that angle going on at the same time as the similar angle between Stardust and Goldust (which was also screwed up). Then Hogan's issues happened to kill the Mandow gimmick that wasn't exactly promising in the first place. So now he's just hanging out waiting for another reboot. WWE's more likely to take a chance on someone they haven't given several gimmicks to already.

For what it's worth, here's what I wanted to see at the Rumble that year:
a. Miz and Mizdow talk before the match about Mizdow being there to help Miz, them working together, etc.. Someone (an interviewer?) would mention this is Mizdow's big chance to headline Wrestlemania and all that, and the seed of doubt is planted that he'll keep copying Miz.

b. Miz is in the Rumble and staves off elimination for a while. It doesn't look like he's going to win, but he's not totally helpless out there. He does get winded/take a beating, though.

c. Just when it looks like Miz is outnumbered and going to have to call it a day, his music hits again and out comes Mizdow as the next entrant. Miz smiles and gets a second wind.

d. Miz and Mizdow stand together and do better than they would as individuals. They lay down some beatings in stereo; everything's going good.

e. Eventually, they get separated by other entrants and Miz gets pounded on. As he's about to be eliminated, he screams out for Mizdow to help him. Mizdow gets some fighting spirit and starts overcoming the odds. He's THIS close to being able to save Miz from being eliminated (trying to catch his wrist as Miz goes over).

f. Naturally, Miz is disappointed. He commands Mizdow to throw himself over the top rope as a "stunt double" for Miz's own elimination. Mizdow thinks about it, and eventually gets a running start to go soaring over. He jumps over the top rope but holds on (presumably because the fans are chanting for him). He looks at the Wrestlemania sign, looks at Miz, shakes his head defiantly, and gets back in the ring.

g. Miz is livid. Mizdow is the proverbial house of fire and goes on a tear. He doesn't win the Rumble, but he has a good showing and stood up for himself.

h. On Raw, Miz calls Mizdow out to apologize for disobeying him. To correct the wrong from the previous night, Miz wants Mizdow to take a pinfall loss to him right then. Mizdow has a choice to make. He eventually lies down, but kicks out at two and starts cleaning house on Miz. Miz escapes, and the feud is set for Fastlane.

i. In the weeks leading to a one-on-one match at Fastlane, "Mizdow" impersonates previous Miz gimmicks/looks. From Real World Miz to his previous hairstyles, etc., Mizdow embarrasses him.

j. At Fastlane, Mizdow (in Chick Magnet Miz attire) frustrates Miz and gets the win, using Miz's moves against him. This would lead to Sandow "as himself" vs. Miz at Mania. In the weeks going to that event, Sandow would show who he is after so long being other people.

That could have been so much fun!

2. I also have no idea. I would hope it happened during the commercial break/after the show since it didn't on TV.

3. lel. This questions was asking about Owens being part of LoN. It's not too late to do that, although it would make things uneven for a feud with the four Wyatts. I guess the Family could put Barrett "on the shelf" for a little while and Owens could step in while he's unable to compete.

4. They keep on running shows pretty regularly, so presumably they're doing well enough.

5. I had no idea I wanted this until now. LISTEN UP WHITE TRASH AND REDNECKS. BIG POPPA PUMP IS OPENIN' UP A WRIST. A RESTAURANT FOR YOU TO COME IN AND GET YOUR HOOKUP. WE GON' HAVE DOUGHNUTS. WE GON' HAVE CHEESEBURGERS. WE GON' HAVE EVERYTHING YOU CAN THINK OF TO STUFF YOUR FAAAAAAT ASSSES. AND IT AIN'T GON' BE IN THAT SUCKHOLE COUNTRY, MEXICO NORTH, THAT YOU CALL CANADA. IT AIN'T GON' BE AT HIROSHIMA, WHERE PEARL HARBOR BOMBED THE GERMANS. YA SEE, THE BIG BAD BOOTY DADDY IS GON' DO ALL OF YOU *FAT* SUMBITCHES AN EGG AND BRING THE BOOM SHAKA LAKA RIGHT TO YOUR HOMETOWN. YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE FROM A HIGHLY-EDUCATED UNIVERSITY LIKE ME TO KNOW GOOD FOOD WHEN YOU SEE IT. HEH? COME ON DOWN TO SHONEY'S OR YOU'LL GET NO SYMPY FROM THE GENETIC *FREAK*. HOLLER IF YA HEAR ME!

But yes, Scott's not a full-time wrestler anymore. He'll still show up here and there when the booking's right, but he's looking to a future where he won't have to take bumps. I wonder how his Shoney's will compare to Abdullah the Butcher's House of Ribs.

More wrestling tomorrow.
