McMahons in Dallas, new match for TNA Pop debut, TNA website changing, and Questions on Punk vs. Nash, dropping an hour of Raw, Lemmy in the HoF, the state of the Divas' Revolution, and Roman not helping Ambrose

Fresh out of jail, Vince McMahon joined Stephanie McMahon and Triple H as special guests at the Dallas Cowboys game at the site of WM32. I wonder where Linda and Shane were.

Added to TNA's debut on Pop: The Beautiful People (Velvet Sky, Madison Rayne, and Angelina Love) vs. The Dollhouse (Jade, Marti Bell, and Rebel). I haven't heard anything about Angelina having given birth or anything, so I don't know what they have in mind here. It would be a nice surprise for someone to take her place as an honorary member of BP. Kong?

Update: Taryn Terrell not being part of that match has been noted, leading to speculation regarding her status in TNA. More on this tomorrow.

TNA is in the process of updating their website. They really need to, given how many people were listed on the active roster who had left months previously.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. That was a huge blunder. Even if Nash was cleared, putting him as the centerpiece of an angle in 2011 was mind-blowing. It MIGHT have worked to use Nash to push Awesome Truth as invaders in the vein of the nWo (as silly as that seems with where Miz and Truth are now, they were on fire in 2011), but it really deflated how hot of a talent Punk was to have to be in an angle with someone whose heyday was more than a decade previous. WWE had already done their version of the nWo shortly after WCW folded; it was time to let sleeping dogs lie.

2. I'm under the impression that third hour of Raw is doing better for USA than their other shows, so they're probably not going to mess with it at this point. Hopefully going into the summer or fall season they'll be confident enough in other options to cut the show back down. Especially if Smackdown does well.

3. Absolutely! I think there's a good chance that happens in Dallas. He's certainly contributed enough to WWE to get that honor.

4. I think it almost definitely sent a message to management regarding pleasing certain members of the fan base. I saw the match as part of a build to Becky vs. Charlotte at the Rumble, with the goal being to show Becky is a legitimate threat and challenge to the gold instead of just Charlotte's Irish sidekick. I'd certainly like to see more storytelling with the female wrestlers regardless. You really have to spell some things out to the fans about what matches mean sometimes, rather than assuming they "get" where you're going with the story. Pre-match interviews and that kind of thing are important for that reason.

5. I think that's a fair counter to the complaint. Maybe there was an "off-screen" agreement between Ambrose and Reigns for the WWE Champ not to get involved because Ambrose can fight his own battles or whatever. It's a pride thing.

More wrestling tomorrow.
