Goldust vs. Cody update, Where are they now?, WWE signs new toy deal, Interview with Mikey, WWE TV update, TNA audience, shoot fight featuring ECW alum?, WWE star opening wrestling school and Questions on Russo and Madusa in the WWE Hall, MITB at Mania and more on a current HoF induction

There are apparently no plans for Goldust vs. Cody Rhodes, at WrestleMania or otherwise. I'm surprised given how hard Goldust has pushed for it these past few years. It's got to end up happening before he hangs it up, right?

The former Little Boogeyman is on anti-bullying mission.  That's great for him to do!

WWE has signed a new deal with Mattel setting up that relationship through to January 2019. Impressive! I bet stockholders are happy at that one.

Mike Mondo, formerly the Spirit Squad's Mikey, was interviewed. I'm not shocked at all Vince was a big fan of it. I'm glad Mikey knows the importance of getting heat. Sometimes that's lost on people. I found the "OVW" thing pretty funny personally, but I wonder how many people got the reference. I wonder what the potential is for a team with Ziggler in 2014? It's not like they're doing anything else with Ziggler. I definitely don't think it should be "the new Spirit Squad" or anything, but they could acknowledge how they have a big past.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

WWE is now free to negotiate the rights of all its cable series to any family of channels. In other words, Raw, Smackdown, Main Event, Total Divas and the now-defunct Saturday Morning Slam could end up on new channels come October. This could be a big change for WWE. Notably, WWE has talked to Viacom about the possibility of moving its shows there. Viacom owns Spike and there's no way WWE's going to share. It's crucial for TNA to keep bringing in viewers if they want to have a home once their current deal ends, whether that's Spike or somewhere else entirely.

This week's Impact Wrestling did 1.42 million viewers. Not a bad mark at all. Maybe they DON'T need Hulk Hogan, Sting, etc. to have good numbers.

Former ECW name Axl Rotten has challenged CZW's John Zandig to a shoot fight. So that's a thing.

WWE's Curt Hawkins is co-opening a new wrestling school. Good for him for thinking of a life outside WWE, because obviously they're not using him much.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I'd love to know what Russo thinks of the idea and how he'd "book" a Hall of Fame induction. Despite his run as WCW Champion, I don't see WWE putting him in anytime soon. They probably want to forget his run ever existed.

2. I don't think WrestleMania needs a MITB match. It works better as its own PPV. That said, I see the argument that the briefcase adds interest to the traditionally slow summer period.

3. I think it kind of waters down the induction to include the managers and referee - four people sharing one induction is a big enough deal.

4. I wouldn't be surprised. She certainly made a mark throwing the title in the trash.

Nothing to add to 5.

More wrestling tomorrow.
