What happened after Raw, Punk rumor debunked, Roman hurt, WWE press, WWE return, KENTA update, WCW vs. Marvel, more Punk fallout, Smackdown main event, WWE roster upset, Wolves/TNA update, Naomi injured, Interview with Watts, Raw audience, update on Owen's death on the WWE Network, Angle disputes injury, Network testing, Cena update and Questions on commentary, working "smarks", WWE's sets, Punk going to TNA and who to push

After Raw, Kane and Randy Orton continued to beat on Daniel Bryan until John Cena made the save. No dark match, though, due to Cena's injury. I was more than happy to get a break from Cena on Monday.

There's no truth to the rumors of fans being ejected from Raw for chanting for C.M. Punk. I think that would have only encouraged those discontent with WWE's current direction.

Roman Reigns got six stitches after Raw. He will likely be tested for a concussion. I hope he's able to go at Elimination Chamber.

Here's a piece on Betty White being part of Raw. I hope she gets WWE the buzz and eyeballs they want.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Mark Henry will return to TV on Raw. I'm a fan of Henry, but I don't really know what he could/should do at Mania. Big E and Henry vs. Rowan and Harper maybe? I don't think it's time for Big E vs. Henry yet, but I could see WWE going that route.

KENTA hasn't been offered a WWE contract as of yet, but he would consider going there if they made him an offer.

Here's some old artwork for a scrapped WCW vs. Marvel comic book. That's hilarious!

WWE has removed a number of references to C.M. Punk. He's still listed as part of the roster. Hopefully fans keep chanting for him and Bryan, because it's really time for a change. Note: there's a BIG difference between chanting for those two and chanting for announcers or burying a perfectly good match just to be petty.

Randy Orton vs. Christian is set for Smackdown. I've got to wonder what the plan is with Christian going forward. He's a great wrestler, but nothing really feels exciting about him at this stage of the game.

There's a general sense of discontent within the WWE roster right now due to the Punk walkout and WWE not addressing how the Network will change things. It doesn't seem like there will be too big of a shakeup for Mania. The Mania lineup isn't bad. I can just see where there'd be a lot of complaints about where Punk and Bryan were slated compared to the older part-timers (and Cena and Orton being in big matches again).

The Wolves are set to work on the road for TNA soon. They will certainly be in action on TV before Lockdown as well. I look forward to it.

Naomi was injured on Raw, possibly bruising or breaking her orbital bone and scratching her cornea due to an errant knee from Aksana. I can't be the only one who thinks it's time to freshen up the Divas division. Are Aksana and Rosa Mendes really adding all that much to things? Sometimes subtraction can be addition.

"Cowboy" Bill Watts talked about the C.M. Punk situation and more. A lot of performers today focus on having really cool moves and spots, hence all the choreography. He's got a really old-school philosophy, which I can definitely appreciate to some degree. He wants people to work hard to succeed.

Raw did 4.21 million viewers, losing more than 500,000 viewers from the previous week. It's definitely time for WWE to acknowledge the elephant of the room in regard to Punk leaving and discontent from both fans and the locker room.

WWE will indeed show Over The Edge 1999 on the WWE Network. It's expected they'll exclude the whole "Owen Hart dying" thing. I think that's a fair decision. They don't want to be seen as glorifying or profiting from his death.

Kurt Angle tweeted an update on his health. He's definitely not in the prime of his career health-wise, but he's not Hulk Hogan either.

WWE is beta testing the WWE Network in-house ahead of its launch later in the month. A lot of eyes will be on them when that gets off the ground (or doesn't).

John Cena has been cleared to return to the ring and will be facing Randy Orton next week on Raw. Well, it was a good break while it lasted.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Pretty much that! It's ultimately Vince's company and he makes the rules.

2. They definitely distort the truth by leaving out important information in their answers, but I don't know them to actually *lie* like other sites.

3. I'm not a fan of it, either. Everything feels too sterile and clean.

4. I don't see much to add here. I'd be very surprised if Punk decided to work TNA instead of in "the big leagues". Then again, Punk lives by his own rules. Who's to say he wouldn't want to work with Joe and/or Aries?

5. Oh, yeah. Definitely. But we could just see Vince use the same old people more. It's ridiculous to say everything is his fault, though. He puts wrestlers where he wants them, but their performances make a mark in how far they get. There's a reason Snitsky vs. Khali isn't the main event of WM30 and Bryan has headlined a lot of shows since Summerslam.

More wrestling tomorrow.
