Top international talent WWE-bound?, former WWE Champions set for NXT special, Cena grants wish, Flair a hot topic, press for Wyatt choir, more on WWE talent scouting, NXT releases, GFW-AAA update, Brooke Tessmacher update and Questions on a different match for Sting in WWE, Jarrett owning TNA stock, Heyman as a face, WWE burying talent and WWE's opening montage

Top Japanese talent KENTA has left NOAH, prompting speculation he'll be heading to WWE after he had a tryout there earlier in the year. He had a number of well-received feuds in ROH and is a name definitely known to the IWC. If he is coming to WWE, that's a pretty big signing and I hope it really pays dividends for both sides.

Rob Van Dam and Ric Flair are set for NXT Takeover. I can see RVD's appearance working well to play off the main event. I hope they have him put over the competitors involved in that.

John Cena granting a wish was picked up. He's an all-around great guy.

Following his appearance on Raw, Ric Flair was a top trending topic on Yahoo for some time. That's cool. I imagine that's what WWE was hoping for.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
WWE put out an official announcement about the Network coming to Xbox One. Hopefully that leads to more subscribers.

The Wyatt Family segment from Raw was picked up due to the choir involved. That was one of my favorite segments in quite some time. I think it'll be remembered for a pretty good while, and for good reason.

A number of the performers scouted by William Regal in Brazil could be coming to get a tryout at the WWE Performance Center. I hope they get some solid signings from the endeavor.

WWE has released a number of performers from NXT:

- Mason Ryan, who had of course been on the main roster. I think he had really improved in NXT. He's only 32 as well. Hopefully he really improves his game outside of WWE and earns a spot in a top promotion again.

- Raquel Diaz, the daughter of Eddie and Vickie Guerrero. This was surprising since she hadn't been back in NXT long. I never really saw her work, but I've seen people praise it. I hope she's alright.

- Oliver Grey, formerly the tag team partner of current NXT Champion Adrian Neville. I hadn't really seen a ton of his work, but for whatever reason he'd been pretty highly praised online from a certain portion of the audience. I don't think this as a huge loss based on what I've seen from him.

- Danny Burch. He'd never really appeared in a big role. He had a solid background if I'm not mistaken. I can't really say much about him since I hadn't really seen much from him at all.

Update:
- Sarah Backman, who had recently asked for her release. I don't know if she'd even appeared on NXT TV. The wrestling business isn't for everyone and I'm glad she found that out now instead of after a lot of development into her.

GFW put out an official press release on the working agreement with AAA. I think Jarrett's promotion has some serious potential, but until a distribution (TV? PPV?) deal is announced, I don't think I can evaluate its chances.

Brooke Tessmacher explained her absence from TNA. I'm glad things are going well for her now and hope for the best in the future.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. You know, I don't hate the idea. I think it could work. That said, I think Taker vs. Sting is the obvious match for a reason and WWE should probably go with that.

2. Legally speaking, both sides in both situations are in the clear. It can definitely be argued there's a pretty obvious conflict of interest in Jarrett's case, though. It's not like he's got a ton of pull in TNA at the moment, so him going to GFW is probably his best option.

3. I think Heyman has enough respect from fans to get over as a babyface, but I wouldn't count on it happening as he really is so great as a heel.

4. I suppose it could happen with Punk given how he left. I hope WWE's not that petty, though.

Nothing to really add to 5, as the priority is definitely on the new talents. It would be cool to see some of those names, though.

More wrestling tomorrow.
