Cody-EVOLVE updates, new way to watch WWE Network coming, ROH TV taping match set, WWE live event note, TNA HoFer update, looking at Vader on Boy Meets World, get WWE 2K16 free, Roode makes NXT in-ring debut and other NXT live event notes, WWF villain now cancer-free, Summerslam even longer?, new CWC competitor, HHH gets metal award, Cole missing ROH shows, and Questions on a HoF Hillbilly, TNA getting a new owner, Hogan vs. Gawker, and Punk's whereabouts

Cody Rhodes vs. Johnny Gargano is set for EVOLVE on August 19. Rhodes is aligned with the anti-WWE faction with Drew Galloway, EC3, and Chris Hero. Cody leaving WWE is a boon to companies looking to make the use of a talented veteran.

WWE Network will have support for Chromecast soon. The reach of the platform continues.

Jay Lethal vs. Kyle O'Reilly is set for ROH's June 25 TV taping. That could be pretty solid.

At a WWE event in Texas, Sasha/Becky/Summer Rae beat Lana/Dana/Eva. That could have been pretty rough given the inexperience of the heel side, but they need more experience in order to improve and this is how they can get it.

TNA is expected to hold off announcing their 2016 Hall of Famer until Tuesday's live-ish episode of Impact Wrestling. It will be interesting to see if they pull out a big surprise on that end. Low Ki? Monty Brown? Eric Young pulling a James Storm?

WWE.com talked to the creator of "Boy Meets World" about Vader appearing on the show. That sounds pretty funny. I barely remember that show.

WWE 2K16 is free for Xbox Gold members ahead of MITB. That's a good promotional idea.

Bobby Roode made his NXT in-ring debut in the UK. He beat Angelo Dawkins. No word on when we'll see him wrestle in the U.S.; I'm under the impression there are still work visa issues to get through on that end. I'm looking forward to seeing more of him, and hopefully Eric Young isn't far behind.

Some notes from NXT in the UK:
- Nicola Glencross beat Peyton Royce. I'd like to think we'll see more of those two on TV as time goes on.

- Baron Corbin is on this tour instead of working the main roster. He had been advertised for the dates for some time, so it's not a sign of him being demoted or anything.

- Wesley Blake and Alexa Bliss worked singles matches. No Buddy Murphy.

Big Bully Busick has recovered from his battle with esophageal cancer. That's good to hear.

Summerslam's start time has been moved up half an hour, which could mean the show will be around the length of WM32. That's a LOT of wrestling in one night. I hope WWE can continue to deliver great content; it's not easy to fill that much time with quality matches and angles.

Anthony Nese qualified for the WWE Cruiserweight Classic at an EVOLVE show this weekend. I can see why he'd be on WWE's radar. It will be interesting to see if he'll end up heading there on a regular basis at some point.

Triple H was presented with the Spirit of Lemmy award in the UK. The Game going over once again.

Adam Cole has been hospitalized for pneumonia and will miss this weekend's ROH live events. That's unfortunate news, and I hope he has a speedy recovery.

For my take on yesterday's PWinsider.com questions:
Nothing to really add to 1.

2. I expect him to go in at some point. It took a long time to get other obvious choices (Freebirds) in, too.

3. There continue to be rumblings of people trying to buy ownership of TNA, but it's not at the level it was months ago where people thought it was THIS close to happening. For now, Dixie remains in charge, and it doesn't look like any significant movement has been made toward that changing recently.

4. THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU GO UP AGAINST THE POWER OF HULKAMANIA, DUDE. WHATCHA GONNA DO GAWKER, BROTHER. I'm sure he'll still get a lot of money out of the endeavor.

5. I'm starting to wonder if the competing in MMA part is the work.

More wrestling tomorrow.
