TNA Slammiversary preview

Read on for my ideas on booking tonight's TNA PPV.
First off, congratulations to TNA for making it 14 years (come June 19)! It's been good for the industry for there to be a televised alternative to WWE. TNA has given a lot of people a lot of opportunities to make money in the wrestling business.

Jeff Hardy's pretty much a no-brainer for the Hall of Fame nod, especially if there's a chance 2016 is his last year in TNA. Obviously James Storm and Abyss are deserving, but I expect them to be around for next year's induction. Mike Tenay would be a great non-wrestler choice. Jeremy Borash deserves it, too, but he can likely wait until a further year.

As for actually booking the matches:

- Jade vs. Sienna:
As much as I wish Jade was being built better as champion, her title reign has been something of an afterthought in TNA. How about we hold off the crowning of Sienna as the next monster champion for now and stretch the feud out some more? Jade escapes with the title due to Allie's interference backfiring.

- Lee vs. Edwards vs. Z vs. Everett:
Trevor has DJ Z right where he wants him, but Edwards prevents him from getting the kill. Everett picks up the scraps of DJ Z and wins with his own finisher to build some intrigue between Helms' two charges. Shane wants to keep the peace as Everett pleads his case of keeping the title in the Helms Dynasty. Lee reluctantly supports his partner... for now.

- Sutter vs. Storm:
Facing a former World Champion on TNA's second biggest show of the year in your second-ever "official" match with the company is a pretty big deal. How about the newcomer impressing Storm in a hard-fought loss? Sorry about James' damn push; they haven't done much with him since Roode left. I'd like to see him in the hunt for singles gold going forward.

- Drake vs. Bram:
It's way too soon for Bram to win the title back. Drake pulls out something crafty to outsmart the angry Brit. I'm thinking he gets Bram to get DQ'd in order to keep the title.

- Gail vs. Maria:
Since Maria is out of action, she recruits Marti Bell and Rebel to attack Gail from behind. Gail feuds with them while Maria heals since they're still around and not doing anything else. Most of the time booking TNA is about making sure everyone has a spot and gets paid.

- Decay vs. Bro-Mans:
I don't see much reason to kill Decay's title reign this soon. Rosemary mists Raquel at ringside. Robbie takes the pin off the distraction and the feud continues with the Bro-Mans looking to avenge the ruining of Raquel's face.

- Tribunal vs. Grado/Shera:
Grado and Shera win, to Snow's dismay. The feud continues for a while until it's time to get Grado/Shera vs. Decay and the Tribunal vs. the Bro-Mans. Until Davey gets back, there's not much else to do in the division.

- Matt vs. Jeff:
Jeff wins to end the feud. Matt uses the loss to "find himself" and come back as something of a babyface to feud with the likes of Bennett and (eventually) Lashley.

- EC3 vs. Bennett:
EC3 survives interference by Spud and Tyrus on the way to a determined victory. EC3 wants his World Title back.

- Drew vs. Lashley:
After one of the most brutal matches in TNA history, Lashley does something insane to KO Drew. They need to pull out something big to end this feud.

As for what else TNA should do, they should certainly make offers for the likes of Cody Rhodes, Moose, Roderick Strong, Damien Sandow, Wade Barrett, Alex Riley, and Ryback. I don't expect TNA to actually pick up all or even most of those names, but they could really use some added depth to their roster. I just hope they do better than signing Cameron and Adam Rose.

More wrestling coming up.
