Read on for my thoughts on last night's Impact Wrestling.
- Alberto/Aries:
WWE and Impact are both running top PPV title matches with people who could very well be leaving the company afterward.
I do see some similarities between these two.
This will definitely be a big match, and a big nod to Austin if he wins.
Mostly good.
- Lee vs. Bahh:
We'll see if the Cult can rebound after their tag team title loss.
I'm liking the heel teamwork.
I like the back-and-forth here.
Not bad to re-establish the former X-Division Champion.
- Callihan/Alisha:
Wow. Wasn't exploding Eddie's eye socket enough?
- Petey promo:
He's already been fired by the company before.
- Sydal vs. Rohit:
Impact has done a good job establishing Sydal.
Sydal has become a pretty well-rounded worker.
Rohit is starting off pretty well in Impact.
Pretty good ending sequence.
- Moose promo:
Moose should absolutely be a top player going forward. And then, you know, WWE should sign him at some point.
- Eli promo:
We already had two firings on Smackdown this week. This isn't a good time for wrestler job security, it seems.
- Allie vs. Sienna:
I love Sienna's urgency.
Sienna isn't playing around.
This is going pretty well.
Not bad for the time it had.
- Post-match:
Surely there's a better time to get your life together than right after a wrestling match?
Awwww.... that could have been so sweet!
This is weird as hell considering Su is married to someone else while Braxton and Allie are married to each other, but it gives everyone involved something new to do. And, of course, their characters aren't married.
- EC3 promo:
Oh come on, people really think he'll get fired?
- Edwards/oVe:
Life just keeps getting worse for Eddie. It's pretty crazy he'd sign a new contract with a company that allows people to smash eye sockets and stalk wives.
I mean, I think it kind of hurts Callihan's badass aura to dress as a maid, but you do you, Sami!
- Abyss vs. Kongo:
I'm liking the battle of monsters so far.
Fun to see some hardcore weapon use sometimes.
Oh how I've missed Janice.
I feel like Abyss doesn't have a great success ratio with his thumbtacks.
BIG powerbomb there.
Wow. Abyss is really not doing well in his signature match.
Pretty big win for Kongo. What's his next move?

I hope Eli makes a new friend soon!
No shock with Petey.
Firing Moose would be sad.
I'm looking forward to Moose's future world title match. Maybe he could win at Slammiversary?
EC3 is pretty fun here.
EC3 has definitely had a stellar run for the company.
Good to see EC3 get such a sendoff.
Wait.... did Borash go to NXT to get revenge on EC3? That would actually be pretty funny.
I'm really liking Cage. I can get behind him being a centerpiece here. You know, for a year or so before he ends up somewhere else.
