NFL guest at NXT show, Smackdown match teased, more on YouTube star at Smackdown, Brock-UFC update, new NWA trademark, Fox Sports names at Smackdown, FloSports/WWNLive lawsuit dropped, new stipulation for ROH PPV match, Bret cameo, Smackdown audience, more Tenille in ROH, and Questions on Alexa turning at WM34, Braun's WM34 role, NJPW booking larger venues, booking the Rumble, and changing AJ vs. Nakamura

Former Indiana NFL player Pat McAfee will be the guest ring announcer for a local NXT live event. That's a cool bonus for the fans there.

Becky Lynch teased a match with Carmella on the next Smackdown Live. Mehhhhh.

Lilly Singh introduced Jinder Mahal in a dark Smackdown segment. Jinder has really fallen off the radar lately.

- Lilly thanked WWE for the experience. Future celebrity Hall of Famer?

Brock Lesnar will very likely compete in UFC again, Dana White confirmed in an interview. Whether that means he's done with WWE or not, time will tell. It could just be a one-time thing like his last bout.

The NWA has trademarked "The Dumont Network" for wrestling purposes. That was the name of the first network to show professional wrestling, from 1946 to 1956. It will be interesting to see what they're planning there. NWA had previously trademarked "The Dupont Network." Whether that was a typo or plans changed is unknown.

A number of Fox Sports executives were at Smackdown, furthering speculation Raw and Smackdown could be heading to Fox family networks in 2019 when their agreement with NBC Universal comes to a close.

Flosports has dropped its lawsuit against WWNLive, with the case officially dismissed with prejudice. Flosports can not file a similar lawsuit against WWNLive in the future. Each side will be responsible for legal and court costs. Good to hear that's all been wrapped up and everyone can move forward with their respective businesses.

- The two sides seem to have come to a confidential financial settlement in order to resolve the claims.

The Hung Bucks will defend ROH's Six-Man Tag Team Championship against SoCal Uncensored in a Vegas Street Fight at ROH's 16th anniversary event. So, there will still be a lot of flips, but now there are weapons involved, too.

Bret Hart appeared on TBS' "The Detour" Tuesday night as an announcer for a lingerie hockey team. That's an interesting turn of events for The Hitman.

Smackdown drew 2.69 million viewers Tuesday night, getting a small boost from John Cena's appearances on the show.

The former Emma will be signing at Manhattan Mayhem. She is not currently booked to wrestle on the show, but she is part of the ongoing tournament to declare the first Women Of Honor Champion.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I absolutely think she could turn face. She's that great at what she does. I was a little surprised with her being called up when she was, but she's absolutely killed it in her current role. They could have Asuka (or Nia?) "go too far" in their Mania match and hurt Alexa while taking the title, setting up a double turn.

2. I'm not against him retiring Kane in some kind of big gimmick match. Ambulance match, maybe?

3. I think they're poised for bigger things for future shows. They continue to impress.

4. Basically the same people who book everything else. It's just a much more complicated process!

5. If anything, they'd replace AJ with Cena or add Cena to the mix. The same hipsters who always boo will boo, then spend a ridiculous amount of money to go through the same experience for the next big show they have an opportunity to attend. Vince doesn't have to worry about the hardcore fans because they're always going to be there with their beach balls and contrarianism.

More wrestling tomorrow.
