Wrestling on Daily Show, NJPW U.S. dojo gets big head coach, ROH name injured, Mania sponsors and musical guests set, Impact looking to lock in top names, Impact agents in Canada, LU name set for Impact crossover event, biggest Rumble match ever set for Saudi Arabia, next WWE HoFer, Takeover:Chicago official, Impact preview show, new WWE title coming, and Questions on WWE paying for talent's clothes, would the women have headlined the Rumble without Rousey, Cena's WM34 path, what Brock leaving WWE would mean, and what happened with Brock and Heyman

"The Daily Show" did a segment on professional wrestling tying into politics. That was... interesting.

Katsuyori Shibata will be the head coach at NJPW's California dojo, with Scorpio Sky also announced as an assistant head coach. That's a good use of the now-retired Shibata.

Trent Beretta recently tore a biceps and pectoral muscle, hence missing Manhattan Mayhem. It's unknown how long he will be away from the ring. I hope he's able to return sooner rather than later.

Snickers will once again sponsor Wrestlemania. Sponsors like taking advantage of the reach WWE has.

Impact Wrestling has been speaking to top talents about new contracts, notably Alberto El Patron and Eli Drake. It's believed the two of them will be staying in the company, but neither have come to terms yet.

Impact used Cody Deaner, Tyson Dux, and Jon Bolen as producers for matches this past weekend's events. Deaner was in charge of the Knockouts' matches.

Rey Fenix will be part of Impact Wrestling vs. Lucha Underground. That could be a big show for both sides.

A 50-man Royal Rumble match is set for Saudi Arabia in late April. WOW. They weren't kidding about doing big events there. I'm curious how all that will go and what the winner will receive.

Hillbilly Jim has been announced for the WWE Hall of Fame. This is been one people have called for years, given his being on good terms with the company for so long.

NXT Takeover:Chicago II will take place the night before Money in the Bank, with combination tickets being sold for both events.

Raw and Smackdown will tape in Quebec on April 30 and May 1 respectively. That will be a nice halfway point between Wrestlemania and Summerslam's events.

Chloe x Halle will open Wrestlemania 34 with "America the Beautiful." More potential future WWE Hall of Famers!

Impact put together a preview show for Thursday's "Crossroads" episode. All the company's championships will be on the line on the show.

205 Live will be getting a cruiserweight tag team championship at some point after WM34, with designs already finalized. That will give a lot of the roster something to do, as many aren't in contention for the top title.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. This came up with Damien Mizdow. WWE paid for his "makeover" with more expensive clothes since it fit his character. I'd think if a talent wants to try out a new look, that's on them, but if it's WWE's gimmick idea, the company pays.

2. Yes. It was a very important match for WWE.

3. I'd much prefer Cena being there with AJ and Nakamura, but I think it's just a move to get more interest in Fast Lane. We're still expected to get Cena vs. Taker and the WK10 rematch.

4. I definitely think Brock having some time away from WWE would be good for everyone involved as far as him becoming more meaningful for the company.

5. Brock and Heyman were flown in for Elimination Chamber, but presumably not actually booked for Raw as neither man was there. WWE definitely swerved a lot of people there.

More wrestling coming up.
