Edge and Christian were in town for Backlash, likely filming material for the second season of their WWE Network show. I'm surprised they didn't bring kazoos to Elias' segment.
- Kane was also backstage at the show. I'm very curious to see what's next for him given his primary victory.
WWE is interested in a second season of "Holy Foley." I'm surprised Noelle hasn't gotten a role as an interviewer or something.
Jason Jordan is booked for Raw tonight. Could he challenge Seth for the Intercontinental Title?
For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Considering Vince's wife and a longtime confidant are in important government positions right how, I doubt they'd do anything. Even without that, Vince would say he's in the "sports ENTERTAINMENT business, pal" and his competition is UFC, Disney, etc. rather than EVOLVE and PWG.
2. LISTEN HERE, PAL. EVERY WWE SUPERSTAR DESERVES TO BE ON SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT'S BIGGEST NIGHT OF THE YEAR LIVE ON THE AWARD-WINNING WWE NETWORK. It's a very special moment for everyone.
3. I wouldn't mind Hulk being "the host" of Summerslam or something. I'd have Angle and Paige make a joint announcement of him returning, bringing him out to do a speech that starts off with him addressing the crowd "as Terry Bollea" and doing a sincere apology before discussing how he wants to be an ambassador and all that. Then drop the big leg on Brock Lesnar, brother. Show Roman how it's done.
