Alberto back in the cage, Neville back in action, WWE injury updates, Interviews with HBK/Renee/Shinsuke, NXT live events, Evolution playlist, more SD1000 names, more WWE trademarks, Janela no longer WWN Champion, new ROH iPPV matches, Raw audience, WWE names at Ringside Fest, and Questions on Brie's ringwork, Saudis calling the shots for WWE, Braun's booking, and the Meltzer Driver

Alberto El Patron will compete for Combate Americas on their first PPV. There's no timetable for that event, but he's training for his comeback. I look forward to seeing how he does.

Neville returned to action at Dragon Gate in Japan, using his previous ring name of PAC. PAC teamed with Eita to defeat BxB Hulk and Shingo Takagi. I'm glad he's able to wrestle again!

Sasha Banks was not backstage at Raw. Make of that what you will as far as her health goes; there hasn't been a real update on her return status.

Shawn Michaels discussed a moment where he thought of coming back to wrestle for WWE. I think I'm good with how things ended up going instead.

NXT has California live events on November 15 and November 16 leading into Wargames. That will be a big week for the brand.

WWE Evolution has a Spotify playlist. That's a pretty cool idea.

The following names have been added to Smackdown 1000: Rey Mysterio, Teddy Long, Vickie Guerrero, Michelle McCool, and Torrie Wilson. I expect Rey will kick off a full-time program then.

Liv Morgan will be at Super Show-Down, but she might not compete. I hope she's able to work again soon.

WWE has trademarked WCCW (for World Class Championship Wrestling), as well as the nicknames "Phenomenal One," "Fearless Nikki," "The Awesome One," and "The Glorious One."

Joey Janela is no longer WWN Champion due to needing surgery on his knee. A new champion will be determined on October 28's EVOLVE event. I hope Janela can rebound from this; he's one of the top indie names out there currently.

Added to Glory by Honor on October 12:
- Marty Scurll vs. Hurricane Helms
- Shane Taylor vs. Hangman Page
- The Briscoes vs. The Bouncers (Beer City Bruiser and Brian Milonas) in a non-title match
- Bully Ray vs. Jonathan Gresham

Raw drew 2.3 million viewers Monday night, a significantly low mark for the series. Obviously ratings are down for everyone these days, but this should be concerning for USA and FOX.

Kurt Angle, Matt Hardy, and the Undisputed Era will be at Ringside Fest 2018.

Renee Young talked about her new role and more. Dean's road back was TOUGH, due to the infection he got. As for becoming Raw GM, I would definitely prefer that to Angle or Corbin, as long as she isn't also beneath Stephanie.

Shinsuke Nakamura discussed being in WWE 2K19 and more. Interesting thoughts about the transition from Japan.

- Nakamura and Jimmy Havoc are on the latest Busted Open.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. As I said previously, Brie would probably rather be retired, or at least still training to return. However, there was the opportunity to do Miz/Maryse vs. Bryan/Brie, as well as have her back to promote "Total Divas," so she's back.

2. WWE chose having a show the way the Saudis want it over not having a show at all. The hope is that having WWE there will lead to some societal changes as far as women are concerned.

3. The Saudi government is signing the checks, so they definitely have some say of who's on the shows there, as long as it's feasible on WWE's part.

4. Braun destroyed Roman and The Shield, didn't lose at HIAC, and has a rematch at Crown Jewel. He's fine. The anti-Roman/anti-Vince bias is preventing people from seeing things clearly.

5. They're big fans of his work, like a lot of current stars. I think there's also the tongue-in-cheek reason that they think Meltzer will rate their matches more highly if they name a move after him.

More wrestling tomorrow.
