Read on for my thoughts on yesterday's WWE Network special event.
- Kofi/Xavier vs. Bar:
Fine work early.
Both teams look good here.
New Day are underrated in the ring.
This is nice!
Pretty cool.
- Becky vs. Charlotte:
Already liking this.
I'm glad this is intense.
Both women have good bases.
This is really nice!
Uggggh. Becky won clean last month, so it was odd she had to cheat here.
- Post-match:
They could really have a barnburner at Evolution.
- Elias/Owens/Lashley/Cena:
If Canada wants to pay millions of dollars for a stadium show, I'm sure WWE would listen.
- Owens/Elias vs. Lashley/Cena:
Expecting a squash here.
Heck, Lashley might win by himself.
Man. This has been a handicap match.
Hahahaha quick night for John. Why learn 30 moves when six will do?
- Post-match:
I'm curious what's in the works for him at Mania. It would be really weird to not have him on the show.
- IIconics promo:
I hope they don't lose in Australia.
- Asuka/Naomi vs. IIconics:Not bad so far.
OK enough. I see why Billie and Peyton aren't pushed at Asuka and Naomi's level...
- AJ vs. Joe:
I'm VERY glad they're not starting off with a tie-up or flips.
I like this so far.
Good intensity.
They're taking it up a level. I like this.
I'm glad AJ's willing to get hardcore. Sometimes babyfaces want to "do the right thing" even in an environment like this.
Ohhhhhhhh that table spot looked rough.
This is really good.

Ahhhhhh this was good. Heck of a win for AJ.
- Ronda/Bellas vs. Squad:
I was wondering when we'd get tension on the face side.
Liv's brave for getting back in there with Brie so soon.
Ronda might kill all five other women.
Ahhhhh finally Ronda's wrestling.
NICE ending.
- Attendance announcement:
We'll see what the "real" number is soon enough. They definitely had bigger goals, but it's still a really impressive number if they beat their previous record.
- Cedric vs. Murphy:
Murphy's got him on the ropes early.
These two work together really well.
This is nice!

Big moment for Murphy. I'm glad to see it.
- Braun/Dolph/Drew vs. Shield:
Hot start.
I'm liking the attack on Seth.
Rollins the Iron Man at it again.
Yeah there's a reason Braun shouldn't fly around.
This is really fun.
Uh-oh. There's your setup for a Dean turn.
Mostly fun work here.
Everyone here works well together.
Nice work overall.
- Miz vs. Bryan:
Wow. That. That barely got started. I guess HHH and Taker needed more time? That's worrying. These two are more qualified to have a long match in 2018. Maybe this means we'll see more work between these two down the line and they're not burning us out.
- AJ vs. Bryan at Crown Jewel:
That definitely doesn't feel as big as Roman vs. Braun vs. Brock.
- HHH vs. Taker:
Oh, they needed more time for Taker's entrance. Of course.
Haha yeah this is going about as fast as you'd expect from a 49-year-old vs. a 53-year-old.
Finally heating up a bit.
Heck this is already almost a tag match.
Wow. I really didn't expect a cable choke spot in 2018.
Man. Now I'm thinking Miz vs. Bryan went short. This is really stretched out.
Taker would have been insane to make that jump.

OH MY GOD END THIS ALREADY.
How many false finishes does one match need?
Maybe the refs fell asleep?
I have no interest in seeing a tag match after this overly long bout.
- Post-match:
This would have been cool in 2006 or so. Maybe even 2010. In 2018, they're far removed from their primes.
