SDL match teased, Interviews with Bryan/Lita/Natalya/McIntyre, WWE stars relaunch podcast, top WOH name expected to sign deal, NYCC wrestlers, WWE names at NJPW, Riddle finishes up, former Impact name retires, PROGESS draws big crowd, and Questions on talents signing with Impact over NXT, the WarGames trademark controversy, what the HoF does and doesn't mean, and Hogan returning on the Network

Carmella teased a mixed tag on Smackdown Live. Be careful what you wish for!

Daniel Bryan promoted Royal Rumble. They'll need to make that a major show to warrant being at a stadium.

Lita promoted Evolution. Really? People don't think Trish and Lita deserve spots on the show? The hope is they'll sell tickets to lapsed fans.

Natalya Neidhart discussed her feud with Michelle McCool. I'd love to see that recreated at Evolution.

Maria Kanellis and Mike Kanellis have restarted their podcast. Mike has been on Main Event lately.

Honey Boo Boo slapped Robbie E at an indie show. Wrestling needs more ridiculousness like this. I can only see so many dives and apron moves before it all blurs together.

Tenille Dashwood is expected to sign an ROH contract shortly. Missing months due to shoulder surgery will be rough without steady pay. I hope she's able to get by.

New York Comic Con will feature Sting, Jerry Lawler, Trish Stratus, Lita, Christian, Finn Balor, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Sami Zayn and The Godfather.

Drew McIntyre promoted Super Show-Down.

Mauro Ranallo, Kairi Sane, and Io Shirai attended NJPW's California show.

PROGRESS event notes:
- Matt Riddle worked his final non-NXT appearance here, losing to Mark Haskins.
- Doug Williams retired after losing to Trent Seven.
- The show had an announced crowd of 4,750, which would be the largest crowd in PROGRESS history and the largest non-WWE crowd in England in decades. Good to see it was such a success! NXT UK will need to keep an eye on what they're doing.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Some talents are better fits for LU (due to the mask/language barrier), or are otherwise not on WWE's radar until they hit a certain level of notability. WWE only has so many spots, and they're going to be selective. Some talents want to build themselves up outside WWE so they have more leverage to be used effectively when Mark Carrano slides in their DMs.

2. I doubt MLW wants to go through a pricey legal battle with WWE over a match that originated in a company WWE owns.

3. I am way underqualified to answer this one. Honestly, Dave Meltzer would be the guy to go to with that one.

4. I definitely think it's an important honor. Certainly it's not the only measure of a wrestler's success, and it is WWE's version of things, but I think it's still pretty meaningful. It will mean a lot more than one night in one venue, especially if things are smoothed over after 20 years as in Owen's case.

5. Honestly I'm leaning toward having him return on-screen at a big stadium show where it will actually make a difference, BUT I also think he shouldn't be "rewarded" in such a way until there's a real path for him to make up for what he did. I could see WWE easing him back into things, though, as far as him being a figure again, and that could mean a Network appearance.

More wrestling tomorrow.
