MYC and ROH Reax - 10/10/18

Read on for my thoughts on last night's MYC and ROH.
-- MYC:
- Zeuxis and Io promos:
Very generic. I wasn't compelled by either woman.

- Zeuxis vs. Io:
Fine psychology here.

Zeuxis is impressing me here.

Solid work from both of them.

Oooooh. Impressive.

I hope we see more of both women.

- Deonna and Xia promos:
Purrazzo is good at being cocky. Xia was OK.

- Deonna vs. Li:
I like this start.

Solid work so far. I'm glad Deonna was signed.

Pretty good! Deonna vs. Shirai should be special.

- Matthews and Tegan promos:
Awkward considering Tegan did get hurt in the tournament.

Both are good on the mic. It's a shame Nicole can't come back to the U.S.

- Matthews vs. Tegan:
Solid work early.

That wasn't bad, but I think Nicole outshone Tegan.

- Mia and Kaitlyn promos:
I liked Mia more as Jade, but she's good at this persona, too.

Based Mia.

- Mia vs. Kaitlyn:
Kaitlyn does seem pretty solid.

I'm liking this story.

Wow. These two play off each other well.

Yeah, the spear not getting the pin seals the deal here.

Nice work from both ladies.

-- ROH:
It's a filler episode...

- C2C vs. Vinny/TK:
Fine start.

Good work so far.

Solid tag work. It just feels like this is ROH Main Event.

Fine work overall.

- Post-match:
Blaaahhhhhhh.

- Scurll vs. Helms:
Fun work so far.

Wait, really? Scurll's begging off Helms? Seems out of place in ROH in 2018.

This is weird, but fun.

This isn't bad at all.

Damn. Helms is taking a lot.

Ehhhhh not bad.

- Burger vs. Ferrara:
Noting says intense street fight like a plancha.

This doesn't feel like a big grudge match.

Ferrara feels somewhat serious here.

Oh boy. Now it's basically a tag match.

Not awful. At least there was no Bully Ray.
