Homecoming preview

Read on for my ideas for booking tonight's Impact PPV.
Talk about a show that's lost in the shuffle. Following WrestleKingdom 13 is going to be a tough task. Impact having two weeks of clip shows didn't help matters. Anyway, the reality is Impact's audience is the lowest it's been since the NWA:TNA days. No matter how great this PPV is, it's probably not going to change much for the company's future as they move a show doing less than 200,000 viewers to a significantly smaller network. That all said, here's what I think would make sense:

- Allie/Su vs. Grace/Kiera:
Grace is certainly someone who can be a force, and this match gives her an opportunity to have something to sink her teeth into. Grace's power is too much for The Undead to handle. Jordynne gets the win, and Su's group has to regroup in the weeks ahead. Jordynne vs. Su for Allie's soul is the end game here.

- Tessa vs. Taya:
Tessa vs. Gail would really be something special, but I don't know if it's something that could be done. Tessa vs. Jordynne is a long-term plan, but I'd have Taya get the win here due to the officiating, since Tessa doesn't really have anything else to do as a heel.

- Swann vs. Page vs. Miguel vs. J. Crist:
Odd lineup, to be sure. Might as well make Swann champion and continue the Swann/Mack/oVe feud.

- LAX vs. Lucha Bros:
After beating the OGz, I think it'd be a waste to blow this chance to further elevate Ortiz and Santana. Hard-fought win for the champs.

- Callihan vs. Mack:
Sami wins, since oVe lost earlier.

- Eli vs. Abyss:
Part of me wants Abyss back to shake things up and add another face into the mix, but I don't think Eli should lose to him. Eli wins this, but Abyss ends up working with Swann and Mack against the three members of oVe.

- Moose vs. Edwards:
Another case where neither man really has much else to do. Edwards wins and moves on to work with Eli.

- Impact vs. Cage:
Killer Kross beats up the Survivor guys at ringside to get Johnny's attention. Cage is THIS close to winning when Impact accepts Kross' offer to help. Dirty finish to retain and set up a rematch. Again, there's not much else interesting going on and they've got TV to fill.

More wrestling coming up.
