NJPW U.S. and UK dates announced, two Tokyo Dome shows in 2020, WK13 injury, RevPro title design returned, WK13 main event breaks record, notable WK13 results, reported WK13 attendance, Homecoming update, Impact taping flash sale, NXT UK tapings set, ROH TV matches, more Okerlund tributes, assorted WWE press, former Impact name works NXT taping, Impact audience, Hogan on Raw, new Raw match, new Network episode, upcoming collections, Nigel documentary on Network, possible NXT injury, and WWE live event notes

NJPW will run Texas on July 6 for the first date of their G1 Climax. That's a major commitment for such an important show.

NJPW will run Tennessee on February 2 to continue their New Beginning USA tour. Further, more tickets will be released for the California show of that loop. I expect more U.S. dates are in the works.

Wrestle Kingdom 14 will be two nights in the Tokyo Dome - January 4 and January 5. That's HUGE, and a sign they expect big business.

NJPW will also have a UK show on August 31. I'm curious where else they'll expand in 2019.

Kota Ibushi was stretchered out of Wrestle Kingdom 13. It's reported he has a concussion.

The Revolution Pro British Heavyweight Championship was defended at WK13. The belt brought out for that match will be put in a museum as they're moving to a new design.

Kenny Omega vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi is now the longest Tokyo Dome main event in history at a reported 39 minutes, 13 seconds.

Notable WK13 match results:
- Kota Ibushi lost the NEVER Openweight Championship to Will Ospreay
- The Young Bucks lost in the IWGP Tag Team Championship match
- Cody lost the IWGP U.S. Championship to Juice Robinson
- KUSHIDA lost the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship to Taiji Ishimori
- Chris Jericho lost the IWGP Intercontinental Championship to Tetsuya Naito
- Kenny Omega lost the IWGP Heavyweight Championship to Hiroshi Tanahashi
-- So the speculation will be some or all of those names are done, potentially heading to AEW or WWE.

NJPW reported 38,162 paid fans at Wrestle Kingdom 13. For comparison, Wrestle Kingdom 11 drew 26,192. That's very impressive!

Impact released the opening to Homecoming, highlighting the promotion's history in the Asylum. It's definitely kind of awkward highlighting so many people who wrestle elsewhere. "Hey remember when we had all these people who left for bigger things?"

Impact had a "flash sale" for Monday's TV taping, offering four tickets for $20. So attending an Impact taping was cheaper than attending an Honorclub event or NXT Florida live event. It's good they're only doing the PPV and one taping there if they're struggling to sell tickets for the second night.

NXT UK announced tapings for February 22 and February 23 at a 3,000 seat arena. We'll see how well attended those shows are.

ROH added the following to their January 12 TV taping in Georgia:
- The Briscoes vs. Best Friends for the ROH Tag Team Championship
- PJ Black challenging for the NWA World Championship against the winner of Nick Aldis vs. James Storm
- Bandido vs. Mark Haskins
- Silas Young vs. Eli Isom to challenge for the ROH TV Championship
- David Finlay vs. Tracy Williams

Bruce Prichard's podcast paid tribute to "Mean" Gene Okerlund on the most recent episode.

NXT gave "Mean" Gene Okerlund a ten-bell salute at the January 3 TV tapings. Always a classy gesture.

Seth Rollins got press for opening a coffee shop in Iowa.

Former Impact star Rebel worked NXT's January 3 taping. I'd be surprised to see her signed at 40 with limited experience, especially given how many other talented wrestlers they've got fighting for TV time.

Ron Funches discussed wrestling ahead of his comedy special. WWE should have him at a show.

Xavier Woods is at this weekend's MAGfest gaming festival.

Drew McIntyre talked in Orlando before Raw.

Smackdown Live will run Pennsylvania on March 25 for a live event.

Impact Wrestling drew 151,000 viewers January 3, the best number of their 10 p.m. timeslot on Pop. I would be SHOCKED to see them get those numbers on Pursuit.

Hulk Hogan will be on Raw to tribute "Mean" Gene Okerlund. I hope that's a good move for everyone.

Raw has added Elias vs. Baron Corbin. Additionally, Bobby Roode and Chad Gable vs. The Revival will now be a lumberjack match. Hey, that technically puts a lot of faces on the show.

A new "Edge and Christian Show" will air after Raw.

WWE Network will feature collections for the Royal Rumble match and Rusev in January.

Nigel McGuinness is the subject of a WWE Network documentary debuting Saturday. It's advertised for an hour.

Brennan Williams was possibly injured at an NXT live event in Georgia. His match with Kona Reeves was nearly stopped after he went head first into the ring post.

Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley worked their first NXT live events since November this weekend, with Bianca defeating Rhea in a non-title match in Georgia.

The Ascension's Viktor worked without Konnor this weekend, teaming with Curt Hawkins and Mojo Rawley in a loss to Heath Slater, Rhyno, and Titus O'Neil in Georgia. Apollo Crews defeated Jinder Mahal, so  it's not a case of Crews not being there for Titus Worldwide.

At NXT's January 4 Florida live event:
- Jeet Rama worked for the first time since November, losing to Kassius Ohno
- Jessamyn Duke lost to Candice LeRae. Marina Shafir was advertised, but didn't compete.
- Suarav Gurjar wrestled for the first time in a month, teaming with Rinku Singh in a tag team elimination match won by the Street Profits. Also competing were the teams of Adiran Jaoude/Cezar Bononi and Danny Burch/Oney Lorcan.

More wrestling tomorrow.
