Necro returning to the ring WM35 weekend, official AEW accounts, NXT award nominees, NXT names booked for EVOLVE matches, Braun charity, Becky appearance, MLW web notes, Survivor contestants at Homecoming, Christian hosing History show, SDL audience, Brandi's AEW role, and Questions on WWN in China, MLW's music situation, selling wrestling to non-fans, Funk vs. Hansen in a river, and Ring Warriors' status

Necro Butcher will work Joey Janela's Spring Break during WM35 weekend. He hasn't wrestled since 2016. I wonder what he does now; I wouldn't think "death match wrestler" would be a good fit on a resume.

AEW revealed its official social media platforms. Unsurprisingly, a lot of fake accounts popped up.

NXT revealed its Year End Award nominees. That's a really impressive lineup.

NXT talent has been added to upcoming EVOLVE shows:
- The Street Profits will defend the EVOLVE Tag Team Championship against the winner of a Tag Team Scramble at EVOLVE 119
- Fabian Aichner vs. Darby Allin is set for EVOLVE 119
- Montez Ford vs. Eddie Kingston (Impact's King) and Angelo Dawkins vs. Josh Briggs are set for EVOLVE 120

Braun Strowman did a polar plunge for a Boys & Girls Club in Wisconsin, and made an appearance out of it. Great to see him help out like that.

Becky Lunch is on MTV's Ridiculousness tonight.

MLW saw a big uptick in web traffic due to the New Year's Eve marathon.

Jerry Lynn and Mikey Whipwreck's podcast is heading to MLW.com.

"Survivor" contestants Nick Wilson and Davie Rickenbacker will be front row at Homecoming to support Johnny Impact. I don't know if that will get anyone to check out the show who wasn't going to watch it otherwise, since having Johnny on "Survivor" hasn't seemed to help audience levels, but we'll see how things go.

Christian will host History's "Knight Fight," debuting January 23. That sounds pretty cool.

Smackdown Live drew 2.09 million for the taped New Year's Day show. That's in line with what they usually do for live shows.

AEW has named Brandi Rhodes as Chief Brand Officer.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. That's unfortunate. It was definitely a big breakthrough for WWN and wrestling as a whole.

2 is a repeat.

3. Given how on the ball MLW has been with other legal aspects of things, I expect they know what they're doing here, too.

4. It's definitely like a play or movie. And much like plays and movies, everyone's going to want something different. Some people are going to like things with interesting characters and lore like LU or CHIKARA. Others are going to just want to see impressive stunts or a big hardcore brawl, and others are going to want to see it treated like a serious sport. Some people want the usual "kick your ass" promo and others want something about competition. So you have to plan accordingly. There are a lot of options out there, though, thankfully.

5. I miss Falls Count Anywhere/hardcore matches that spilled out of the venue.

6. They moved the "winter season finale" (final episode taped) to Amazon Prime. No new tapings have been set, but they have plans to do more in 2019. It's unknown if they'll return to WGN.

More wrestling tomorrow.
